GMC FOOTBALL: J.P. Stevens scores twice in fourth quarter to down Woodbridge

J.P. Stevens 23, Woodbridge 7: Quian Muse rushed 13 times for 137 yards including a 46-yard touchdown that produced the final margin as the Hawks dealt a devastating blow to the Barrons’ postseason hopes.

Woodbridge (2-6) entered the contest with the seventh most power points in North 2 Group IV and may now need some help to qualify for the playoffs.

J.P. Stevens (2-5) recorded a safety in the third quarter to take a 9-7 lead. In the fourth quarter, Kasi Hazzard scored on a 3-yard run and Muse also found the end zone for the Hawks.

Justice Williams opened the scoring with a 6-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for J.P. Stevens.

Hazzard finished with 56 rushing yards on eight carries. He also completed 2 of 4 passes for 19 yards.
