Summit 55, North Plainfield 30: Naji Campbell threw three touchdowns, including two to Tony Godwin, and Brandon Smith added an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the opening quarter and a touchdown catch in the second, but the Canucks fell to 0-6. Summit received two touchdowns from Jackson Tyler and a pair of scoring passes from Skyler Schluter to improve to 5-2.

Roselle 61, Dayton 0: Marvens Lormejuste tossed three touchdown passes, and Nasir Cherry, Naseer Page and Quraan Dixon each scored twice as Roselle rolled. The Rams are 5-2, Dayton falls to 1-6.

Somerville 33, A.L. Johnson 7: Jalahn Dabney ran in two short touchdowns and threw another, and Ryan Kovacs threw for 200 yards and a score, as Somerville (6-1) dealt A.L. Johnson its first loss in six games. Robbie Fiorentino also reached the end zone for the Pioneers, who got eight catches for 86 yards and touchdown from Kyree Hinton. Ethan Hillman also hauled in a touchdown catch in the victory. Hinton, Marcus Burnside and Duke McDuffie all notched interceptions for Somerville.

Watchung Hills 12, Linden 7: Jeff Poggi caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Chad Martini, and Kevin Badger followed up a 26-yard run with a 2-yard scoring scramble and Watchung Hills (2-5) pulled off the upset, topping Linden (3-3). Adam Claxton paced the Warriors’ defense, recording seven tackles, a sack and recovering a fumble.

Bound Brook 41, Brearley 34: David LePoidevin threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns, and the quarterback ran in three more scores, as Bound Brook maintained control of the Mid-State 37 Union Division race with a road victory. Mason Horsburgh ran for 71 yards and a touchdown, catching a scoring pass for another, for the Crusaders (6-1), who can clinch their second straight title with a victory over Dayton next Friday night. Josh Ejiogu caught seven passes for 177 yards, while Nigel Wilson grabbed a TD toss in the victory. Mike Ramos ran for 176 yards and three touchdowns, and Khaleed Bonnet reached the end zone twice for Brearley (3-4).

Voorhees 35, Bernards 0: George Eberle threw two touchdown passes to John Roncoroni scored on a 47-yard run and a 99-yard interception return, as Voorhees cruised to its sixth win. Collin Rapach caught a 24-yard scoring pass and Jack McCabe grabbed a 28-yard touchdown connection in the victory. Kyle Enchill added an 84-yard fumble return for a score for the Vikings (6-1). Scott Fernandes rallied 10 tackles and two sacks and Charles Eberle posted a sack and 12 tackles to pace the Voorhees defense. Bernards, which beat the Vikings by the same score last year, fell to 1-7.

Hunterdon Central 21, Warren Hills 19: Jack Kovi and Michael Bryant ran in touchdowns and Justin Almone caught a scoring toss from Clayton Lancaster as Hunterdon Central improved to 3-4. The Red Devils successfully defended a Warren Hills 2-point conversion pass late in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

Ridge 37, Union 36 (OT): RJ Milligan rushed for three touchdowns, including a one-yard run in overtime for Ridge, and when Union missed an extra-point kick after its overtime touchdown, the Red Devils (2-3) had the victory. Nolan Haddad also scored a touchdown for Ridge, while Devin Stieglitz scored another on a Brandon Radice pass in the win. Andy Martin scored three times for the Farmers (2-4).

Phillipsburg 41, Montgomery 16: Ryan Cashman caught an 81-yard touchdown pass and Reese Clark scored on a three-yard run for Montgomery (1-6). Chandler Turner hit a 25-yard field goal and connected on one extra point for the Cougars, while quarterback Ryan Furey finished with 254 passing yards. Kyle Kuminski recorded an interception for Montgomery. Phillipsburg is 6-0.

Rahway 64, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 24: Cooper Heisey hit Isiah Stewart with a touchdown pass, and Alex Osliso and Anthony Porter each ran in scores, but Scotch Plains-Fanwood fell to 0-7. Justin Sanders ran in a pair of 2-point conversions and Porter ran in another, as the Raiders went 3-for-3 converting Friday night. Zion Pendelton rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns, and Dashon Moore gained 156 yards and two rushing scores for Rahway (4-2). Keyshawn Cummings ran in a score and caught two touchdowns in the victory.

Cranford 38, Governor Livingston 0: Anthony Araujo scored two touchdowns, as Cranford improved to 4-3. Governor Livingston fell to 1-5.

Elizabeth 50, Plainfield 0: John Wactor scored four touchdowns for Elizabeth (4-3), as Plainfield fell to 0-7.

Belvidere 29, North Warren 7: David Kinney ran for a touchdown and threw another for Belvidere (5-2).
