Spotswood 30, Bishop Ahr 6: Chance Fee’s rushing touchdown and Tom Conahan’s 32-yard field goal helped propel the Chargers to a 10-0 first-quarter lead they would not relinquish.

Nick Vincelli generated two 1-yard touchdown plunges in the second quarter as Spotswood extended its margin to 24-0 at the half. Vincelli’s second scoring run followed a botched Bishop Ahr punt attempt deep inside its own territory.

Fee closed out Spotswood’s scoring with a long touchdown run in the third quarter. Bishop Ahr averted a shutout with a 1-yard touchdown run on fourth down in the final minute. Spotswood blocked the PAT.

With the victory, its third straight, Spotswood (4-3) climbed over the .500 mark and solidified its chances of earning an NJSIAA playoff berth. The Chargers entered the game with the eighth most power points in Central Group II.

Bishop Ahr (2-5) was held to seven or fewer points for the third time this season.
