BOYS SOCCER

South Plainfield 3, J.F. Kennedy 0: Isaiah Storah posted a hat trick to pace South Plainfield (3-4). Marc Giordano and John Boyce each tallied one assist while Bryan Cruz made four saves to post the shutout.

Somerville 2, Notre Dame 0: Scott Byrouty recorded one goal and one assist and Jose Luis Carrasco scored once for Somerville (5-1-1). AJ Quade added one assist. Juian Franco made eight saves in goal during the shutout.

East Brunswick Tech 7, Perth Amboy Tech 0: Jonathan Dela Rosa tallied a hat trick while Joshua Dela Rosa added two goals for East Brunswick Tech (4-3). Dennis Noon posted one goal and two assists, Mike Malgioglio scored once and Zack Chrobocinski added two assists. Jayson Vassallo and Patrick Temenski combined to post the shutout in net.

Perth Amboy 5, Bishop Ahr 3: Joseph Torres tallied a hat trick while Joel Santos and Joel Zuniga each added one goal for Perth Amboy (1-6). Jude Roche scored twice while William Barlow added one goal for Bishop Ahr (1-4).

GIRLS SOCCER

Bishop Ahr 6, Perth Amboy 2: Jenna Sheedy and Trinity Upton each scored twice for Bishop Ahr (3-3). Morgan Maguire and Katie Mazzarelli each added one goal and one assist for the Trojans. Emma Herban tallied three assists and Sarah Glazewski had two assists. Dennise Gamino tallied one goal and one assist while Isabella Sosa scored once for Perth Amboy (0-6).

Rutgers Prep 7, Doane Academy 2: Macey Mento tallied two goals and one assist to lead Rutgers Prep (5-1). Micah Livingston added one goal and one assist while Micaela Kraker, Isabella Pellecchia and Taylor Williams each scored once for the Argonauts.

Timothy Christian 1, Carteret 0: Rayza Michelen scored the lone goal of the game for Timothy Christian (2-4). Elizabeth Oduro made 13 saves and posted the shutout. For Carteret (4-2), Oluwatimilehin Akinboye made five saves.

South Plainfield 2, Linden 1 (2OT): Samantha Pullen scored on an assist from Andrea Avelar with 37 seconds left in double overtime to lead South Plainfield (1-6). Lauren Hutchinson scored with eight minutes left in the game to send it overtime. Courtney Smith had one assist and Brianna Slover made 10 saves. For Linden (2-4-1), Renee Rocha scored on an assist from Shannon Clark. Rebecca Rocha made six saves.

Stuart Day 2, Mount St. Mary 0: Aubrie Hart made four saves for Mount St. Mary (1-4-1).
