GMC Football: J.F. Kennedy wins overtime thriller

After David Lee booted a 20-yard field goal in overtime, the J.F. Kennedy defense stuffed Red Bank Regional on fourth down to end the game, as the Mustangs held on for a dramatic 17-14 victory on Friday night.

Deandre Carter scored on an 8-yard run and Maven Garced scored on a 5-yard run for J.F. Kennedy.

Makai Mickens returned the game’s opening kickoff 80 yards to put J.F. Kennedy in an early hole. Nigel Mitchell scored Red Bank Regional’s other touchdown on a 50-yard run.
