Bound Brook 34, South Hunterdon 7: Mason Horsburgh rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns to lead Bound Brook (3-0). Josh Ejiogu scored on a 34-yard run and Ahmad Campbell rushed five yards for a touchdown. David Vicuna rushed four times for 29 yards. Quarterback David LePoidevin was 3-of-8 for 47 yards. Kenny Reyes went 5-for-5 on extra points.

Manville 21, Pingry 14: Nasir Peek rushed 19 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns for Manville (1-1). Steven Garcia rushed nine times for 37 yards and one touchdown. Shane Demeter rushed seven times for 20 yards. Quarterback Shane Demeter was 3-of-9 for 43 yards. Gabriel Van Buren kicked three extra points. For Pingry (1-1), Obi Nnaeto scored two touchdowns, one on a 79-yard run and one on a 38-yard pass from Joe Shilts. James Draper connected on both extra points. 

Voorhees 35, Cranford 0: George Eberle was 13-of-15 for 285 yards and three touchdowns for Voorhees (2-0). Eberle also rushed for two touchdowns. Jack McCabe caught six passes for 185 yards and one touchdown. Will Rodenberger caught three passes for 117 yards and one touchdown, while John Roncoroni caught two passes for 53 yards and one touchdown and had eight tackles. Colin Tong rushed nine times for 40 yards and had nine tackles. Scott Fernandes finished with six tackles and one sack. 

Somerville 54, North Plainfield 25: Quarterback Ryan Kovacs connected on 19-of-23 passing attempts for 228 yards and four touchdowns, and Robbie Firentino tallied 149 rushing yards and a score, as Somerville improved to 2-0. Duke McDuffie chipped in 66 rushing yards and touchdown, adding five catches for 93 yards and a score. Jalhan Dabney added a rushing TD for the Pioneers, while Kasi Miller (5 catches, 70 yards) and Marcus Burnside each caught touchdown passes. DaShuan Smith contributed a 98-yard interception return for a touchdown to the Somerville cause.

North Hunterdon 31, Warren Hills 13: Matt Busher threw for 166 yards and a touchdown, adding 111 yards and touchdown on the ground, as North Hunterdon (2-0) cruised past Warren Hills at home. Luke Wain ran for 146 yards and a touchdown for the Lions, while Jared McMahon caught two passes for 58 yards and a score. Connor McMahon’s 25-yard interception return for a TD and a 29-yard John Spies field goal also contributed to North’s victory.

Phillipsburg 14, Hunterdon Central 12: Matt Logan kicked field goals of 40 and 39 yards in the second half, and Clayton Lancaster scored in the final minute on a seven-yard run for Hunterdon Central, but the Red Devils’ ensuing 2-point conversion attempt failed, sending them to 0-2.

Linden 34, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 20: BJ George rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns to lead Linden (1-1). Cooper Heisey connected on 18-of-36 passing attempts for 242 yards and a touchdown to Justin Sanders for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, while Alex Oslislo and Javin Scott each scored a rushing touchdown for the Raiders (0-2).
