Boys Lacrosse: Union County Tournament seeds

The Westfield High School boys lacrosse team earned the No. 2 seed in the Union County Tournament on Monday.

The Blue Devils, which defeated Summit last year 7-6 in double overtime, earned a bye into the semifinals. Summit was given the top seed and also received a bye into the semifinals. Scotch Plains-Fanwood was given the No. 3 seed and New Providence earned the No. 4 seed. Both of those teams have byes into the quarterfinals.

The first round will be played this Saturday, with the quarterfinals following on Monday, May 1. The semifinals will be held on May 4 at A.L. Johnson, and the final is set for May 6 at 7:30 p.m., also at Johnson.

8-Gov. Livingston at 5-Johnson, winner at 4-New Providence, winner at 1-Summit.

7-Oratory Prep at 6-Cranford, winner at 3-Scotch Plains-Fanwood, winner at 2-Westfield.
