Girls Lacrosse: Old Bridge earns No. 1 seed in GMC Tournament
The Old Bridge girls lacrosse team earned the No. 1 seed for the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament on Friday.
The Knights (7-3) last won the tournament crown in 2015 as the No. 4 seed. Defending champion North Brunswick earned the No. 2 seed, Monroe, last year's finalist, is the third seed and South Brunswick was given the No. 4 seed.

The tournament starts on Saturday with No. 8 J.P. Stevens hosting No. 9 Bishop Ahr in a play-in game. The winner will face Old Bridge in the quarterfinals on May 9. The semifinals are slated for May 11 and the final is scheduled for May 13.
