South Plainfield 2, Sayreville 1 (8 innings): Jill Holoboski scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth on a walk-off single by Camryn Schaeffe as South Plainfield improved to 9-0. Caity Hughes hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first. Katherine Vill allowed one run on seven hits and struck out six. For Sayreville (7-2), Ashley Cannon scored and Kelly Duffy had one RBI. Duffy allowed two runs on five hits and struck out four.

Carteret 3, Metuchen 2: Caitlyn Murray doubled and scored a run for Carteret (9-2). She also allowed two runs on six hits and struck out three. Nicole Casale finished with one RBI and one run scored. Chloe Oblepias had one RBI and Jennah Schiraldo scored a run. For Metuchen (5-3), Julie Stankiewicz doubled and had two RBI.

Colonia 2, North Brunswick 0: Yamilee Moreta led Colonia (6-6) with a two-run double in the bottom of the first. Jessica Donovan and Frankie Brock each scored a run. Sabrina Tiseo pitched a six-hit shutout and struck out nine. For North Brunswick (2-8), Gabriella Puleio finished 2-for-3. Tara Jennings allowed two runs on five hits and struck out three.

Old Bridge 4, Monroe 0: Meaghan Dowdell pitched a three-hit shutout and struck out nine for Old Bridge (6-2). She also added one RBI. Nia Carrasco went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Jessica Gaughan and Jessica Ahearn each scored a run. Jenna Theoret, Jess Weinthal and Sarah Stepnowski all singled for Monroe (3-6).

South Brunswick 5, J.P. Stevens 2: Lindsey Warick finished with a double, two RBI and one run scored for South Brunswick (7-0). Jess Risch tripled and scored a run. Jessica Stadler had one RBI. Haley Grossi, Emily Collins and Carly Rybinski each scored a run. Gabriella Brancaccio allowed two runs on five hits. Brianna Miller went 2-for-3 with a home run, one RBI and one run scored for J.P. Stevens (4-2). Ashley Lombardi had one RBI and Julie Siecinski scored.

Mother Seton 8, New Brunswick 2: Samantha Perrette allowed two runs on three hits and struck out eight for Mother Seton (2-5). She also doubled and scored twice. Jillian Frost finished with a home run, two RBI and one run scored. Emily Hayes went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Sadia DeCastro went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Catie Koenig had two RBI. For New Brunswick (0-7), Brianny Cerda and Andrea Thompson each had one RBI. Sha'Nya Lige and Nichole Rivas each scored a run.

East Brunswick 10, Piscataway 9: Kayleigh O'Kane hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to lift East Brunswick (2-5). Gina Morrison finished with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Anna Curreri doubled and scored three runs. Arin Pelletier finished with a double, one RBI and one run scored. Sarah Ciaccio doubled and scored a run. For Piscataway (1-4), Jessica Alicea went 3-for-4 with double, one RBI and one run scored. Jennifer Majorczak went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored. Carly Bressler hit a grand slam. Caitlyn Erdman added one RBI and scored a run.

South River 9, Wardlaw-Hartridge 0: Mackenzie Garrick pitched a two-hit shutout and struck out 15 to pace South River (8-1). She also went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBI. Samantha Buckenberger finished with two doubles and two RBI. Hannah Kurtz doubled and scored twice. Erin Kowalski and Rebecca Molnar each scored twice. For Wardlaw-Hartridge (3-4), Kristyn Smith went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Spotswood 19, Dunellen 3 (5 innings): Rachel Intravartola went 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored for Spotswood (6-5). Cassandra Archer went 2-for-3 with two RBI and four runs scored. Krista VanWageninge finished with a double, three RBI and four runs scored. Megan Tully added a double, two RBI and one run scored. Julie Raba had one RBI and scored three runs. For Dunellen (3-5), Alex Reidy went 2-for-3 with one run scored and one RBI. Brianna McAuley and Taylor Shealy each had one RBI. Chloe Dale and Alex Steele each scored one run.

South Amboy 14, Highland Park 4: Shannon Tran went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored for South Amboy (5-3). Jenna Makar doubled, had one RBI and scored a run. Alissa Bikowski scored three runs. Julie Olivieri and Renee Piazzolla each scored twice. For Highland Park (2-4), Ester Adiv, Shantal Azcona, Jomyra Duran and Demi Michael all scored.

Perth Amboy Tech 18, Woodbridge Academy 4 (5 innings): Rebecca Haggerty went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBI and three runs scored for Perth Amboy Tech (6-1). Daisy Arocho went 3-for-5 with a home run, one RBI and three runs scored. Diana Bueno double and scored three runs. Devyn Kennedy finished 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Akshaya Ramaswarr went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored for Woodbridge Academy (1-5). Joyce Vilson had two RBI and scored a run. Tamera Hutchinson scored twice.

Woodbridge 14, J.F. Kennedy 8: Emily Kolarick went 2-for-4 with two doubles, five RBI and one run scored for Woodbridge (4-7). Mackenzie Thomas finished with a double, two RBI and three runs scored. Kylie Gautier and Jordan Vazquez each scored three runs. Brooke Timinski doubled, scored a run and had one RBI. For J.F. Kennedy (5-7), Katie Baumgarten went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Erin Sinatra went 3-for-4 with one run scored. Jillian Sims tripled and scored a run.

Bishop Ahr 18, Perth Amboy 0 (4 innings): Alyssa DeJianne and Katie Eicher combined for a three-hit shutout and nine strikeouts for Bishop Ahr (5-3). Eicher went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored. Colleen Cronin went 2-for-2 with three runs scored. Allison LaRochelle, Megan Herka and Colleen Sharlow each scored twice. Valerie Lascano went 2-for-2 for Perth Amboy (1-7). Ashley Castro singled.

East Brunswick Tech 17, Piscataway Tech 10 (6 innings): Kayla Morales led East Brunswick Tech (6-2) with a double, four RBI and one run scored. Christina Crowe had a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Gabriella Carnevale added two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Amanda Lopez went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Makayla Brown went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, one RBI and three runs scored. Isabella Cardin had a double, one RBI and scored twice. Claudia Edralin went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Piscataway Tech (0-7).
