GMC RESULTS

South Brunswick 2, Old Bridge 0: Gabriella Brancaccio pitched a four-hit shutout and struck out nine for South Brunswick (8-0). Carly Rybinski went 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI and one run scored. Kate Mastro tripled and scored a run. For Old Bridge (7-3), Nia Carrasco, Jessica Ahearn, Nicole Cashman and Paige Nugent all singled. Meaghan Dowdell allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out seven.

South Plainfield 5, New Brunswick 1: Katherine Vill allowed one earned run on two hits and struck out 11 as South Plainfield improved to 10-0. She also went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run scored. Caity Hughes finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Jillian Holoboski went 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run scored. Camryn Schaeffer finished with a double and one RBI. Alyssa Contreras homered for New Brunswick (2-9). Kayla Scher doubled.

J.P. Stevens 7, Edison 0: Ashley Lombardi pitched a three-hit shutout and struck out seven for J.P. Stevens (5-2). She also went 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored. Julie Siecinski went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Brianna Zederbaum finished 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and one run scored. Chloe Ling and Amanda Leary each scored a run. Erin Cahill, Kara Guno and Alida Pellicane singled for Edison (1-8).

Chloe Oblepias had one RBI. For Spotswood (6-6), Julie Raba went 3-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and one run scored. Brittany Rifenburg went 2-for-3 with one run scored. Cassandra Archer had two RBI.

J.F. Kennedy 12, Perth Amboy 4 (5 innings): Erin Sinatra allowed two runs, one earned, on four hits and struck out 12 for J.F. Kennedy (7-7). Madison Buttitta finished with a home run, three RBI and one run scored. Katie Baumgarten went 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Ashlee Ayr tripled and drove in a run. Adriana Arroyo had one RBI. For Perth Amboy (1-8), Alyssa Kennedy finished with a triple and one RBI. Mia Molina and Nairoby Jimenez each scored a run.

Monroe 14, Piscataway 6: Kiersten Flueger went 4-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored for Monroe (4-6). Sarah Stepnowski went 2-for-3 with a double and one run scored. Mckayla Krajcsovics finished with one RBI and two runs scored. Kylie Denneler scored twice. Julia Granit scored twice. For Piscataway (1-6), Arianna Percivale went 2-for-2 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs scored. Carly Bressler and Caitlyn Erdman each scored twice.

Perth Amboy Tech 15, East Brunswick Tech 3 (6 innings): Devyn Kenedy went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored for Perth Amboy Tech (7-1). Rebecca Haggerty went 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Daisy Arocho went 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs scored. Izabelle Acevedo had two RBI and one run scored. Woodbridge Academy 18, Timothy Christian 4 (5 innings): Joyce Vilson went 3-for-4 with four runs scored for Woodbridge Academy (2-5). She also allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out four. Tamera Hutchinson, Aasiya Khan, Chelsea Lopez, Akshaya Ramaswarr and Asiyah Robinson each scored twice.
