Colonia 6, Spotswood 5: With the game tied 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh, Colonia catcher Yamilee Moreta reached base on a fielder's choice. Samantha Pucci entered as a pinch runner and scored on a triple by Alivia Taveras-Nemes to win the game for the Patriots (4-5). Frankie Brock went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and one run scored. Alyssa Gregor went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Caitlyn Hroncich tripled and scored a run. For Spotswood (3-4), Krista VanWageninge finished with four RBI and one run scored. Julie Raba went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

Old Bridge 4, Sayreville 3: With the game tied 2-2, Old Bridge (4-2) scored twice in the bottom of the sixth for the win. Meaghan Dowdell allowed three runs on five hits and struck out eight. Nia Carrasco finished with a triple, one RBI and one run scored. Paige Nugent added one RBI and scored a run. Krystina Renter and Dowdell each scored a run. For Sayreville (4-1), Kelly Duffy homered and scored twice. Ashley Cannon doubled and scored a run. Emma Herrick had one RBI.

Monroe 10, East Brunswick 1: Julia Granit allowed one run on six hits and struck out four for Monroe (3-4). Kiersten Flueger went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Jess Weinthal finished with two RBI and two runs scored. Mckayla Krajcsovics scored twice. Kylie Denncler had three RBI. For East Brunswick (1-4), Beth Anania had the RBI.

J.F. Kennedy 5, Metuchen 2: Madison Buttitta went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and three RBI for J.F. Kennedy (4-4). Jillian Sims scored twice. Katie Baumgarten drove in a run. Adriana Arroyo, Carly Mackenzie and Julia Sinatra all scored a run. For Metuchen (4-2), Alanna Benderly finished with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored. Rachel Wyetzner had a double and one RBI.

South River 8, South Amboy 4: Mackenzie Garrick allowed four runs, one earned, on six hits and struck out 13 for South River (5-1). She also went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored. Hannah Kurtz went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Erin Kowalski scored twice. For South Amboy (3-3), Jenna Makar recorded two RBI. Meaghan McCarthy scored twice.

South Brunswick 13, Immaculata 3: Lindsey Warick went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored for South Brunswick (6-0). Jaime Klemas homered, scored twice and drove in two runs. Jessica Stadler went 4-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and four runs scored. Haley Grossi added two RBI and two runs scored. For Immaculata (1-5), Fran Torraca went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI. Daniella Sames, Jackie Zayle and Gianna Novak scored.

South Plainfield 13, Middlesex 3 (5 innings): Katherine Vill improved to 6-0 after she allowed three runs on five hits and struck out 11 for South Plainfield (6-0). Caity Hughes went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Jillian Holoboski went 2-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Julie Davis doubled, drove in three runs and scored a run. Jennifer Grasso scored three runs. For Middlesex (4-3), Ashley Dotey led with a double, one RBI and one run scored. Nicole Fallon doubled and scored a run. Natalie Devin and Kristie Tackach each had one RBI. Candace DiNizo scored a run.

East Brunswick Tech 18, Highland Park 3 (3 innings): Gabriella Carnevale finished with four RBI and two runs scored for East Brunswick Tech (4-1). Amanda Lopez had three RBI and two runs scored. Isabella Cardin had four RBI and scored a run. Rebecca Alfrey went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run scored. Kayla Morales had one RBI and three runs scored. Grace D'Amato added two RBI and three runs scored. Nicole Loughran scored three runs and Makayla Brown scored twice. For Highland Park (2-2), Ester Adiv had one RBI and one run scored. Perth Amboy Tech 25, Timothy Christian 8 (5 innings): Daisy Arocho hit a three-run home run and finished with four RBI and four runs scored for Perth Amboy Tech (4-1). Rebecca Haggerty went 3-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored. Diana Bueno and Hiladarys Alberto each had two RBI and scored three runs. Gabriela Gonzalez scored four runs.

Rahway 26, Roselle Catholic 7 (4 innings): Shanel Stradford went 4-for-4 with a home run, eight RBI and five runs scored for Rahway (3-3). Shantel Stradford finished 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, six RBI and four runs scored. Luz Martinez and Angela Peters each had two RBI and scored three runs. Laniya Vargas went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Chanel Winstead scored three runs and Laurie Kiley scored twice.
