Gov. Livingston 6, Westfield 2: Nick Cocchia tossed 6 1/3 superb innings, allowing two runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out six to lead Gov. Livingston to a UCC Watchung Divsion victory. Stephen Reid hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning while shortstop Danny Serretti went 2-for-2 with an RBI triple for the Highlanders (3-0). Victor Cruz hit a solo home run for Westfield (1-2).

South Plainfield 4, Colonia 0: Jean Sapini pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout and struck out eight for South Plainfield (3-0). Dylan O'Connor doubled and scored a run. Mike Marero had one RBI. For Colonia (2-3), Nick Michael, Frank Lehman and Anthony Palmisano singled.

Montgomery 7, Hightstown 1: Palmer Smith pitched a one-hitter through five innings and struck out five for Montgomery (5-0). Matt Ryan hit a three-run home run. Jesse Gerdes doubled, scored a run and had one RBI. Nick Pascale and Ryan McKenna each added one run and one RBI.

Academy Charter 7, Manville 5: Gabriel Van Buren finished 3-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored for Manville (0-2). John Sharbaugh doubled and drove in a run. Nick Dorin scored twice.

Piscataway 4, J.F. Kennedy 2: The Chiefs scored what proved to be two much-needed insurance runs in the top of the seventh to build a 4-0 lead as the Mustangs scored twice in the bottom of the frame to produce the final margin. Ro Morris, John Swier, Justin Mckeown, Chris Corvil and pinch hitter Lucas Santana accounted for all of the Chiefs’ base hits with one hit apiece. Morris doubled and scored two runs. He also walked twice and had an RBI. Swier and Corvil plated one run apiece. Parris Washington and Nick Bucci each scored for Piscataway.

East Brunswick Tech 6, Dunellen 0: Vincent Pellicane pitched a complete-game shut out, scattering five hits while striking out seven to earn his second victory. Pellicane helped his cause at the plate going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Rookie Garrett Allo went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Garrett was intentionally walked in the sixth to load the bases and Dylan Johnson delivered with a bases-clearing double to put the Tigers up 6-0. AJ Rambone also had two hits and two runs scored. Ryan Kerwin and Joe Olsommer combined for four of the five Dunellen hits with two apiece.

Wardlaw-Hartridge 7, South Amboy 6: Sandy Miller's single up the middle scored two runs in the top of the seventh gave Wardlaw-Hartridge (2-2) the win. Miller finished 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Tim McDonald doubled, scored twice and drove in two runs. AJ Massaro had one RBI and one run scored. JJ Stueck doubled, had one RBI and scored a run. He also picked up the win after he pitched a scoreless 1 1/3 innings and struck out two. For South Amboy (1-3), Zach Honimar went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Nick Charmello doubled, scored a run and had two RBI.

Rahway 8, Brearley 2: Johnathan Torres allowed two runs on four hits and struck out 11 in 6 2/3 innings to get the win for Rahway (1-2). David Tobar finished with two doubles and three RBI. Jordan Becker recorded two doubles, two RBI and one run scored. Luis Miller doubled, scored twice and drove in two runs.

Timothy Christian 8, Piscataway Tech 2: Daniel Lai earned the win for Timothy Christian (1-4) after he allowed two runs on five hits and struck out six in a complete-game effort. Matt Spiess doubled and scored a run. Jeff Samson and Michael Thiero each scored twice. For Piscataway Tech (0-3), Alan Estevesz went 2-for-2 with a double, one RBI and one run scored. Khristian Callaway tripled and scored a run.

Delaware Valley 5, Franklin 4: Sean Hanczaryk finished 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI for Delaware Valley (1-2). Christian Hlinka doubled and scored a run. Brett Godown added one RBI and one run scored. For Franklin (0-2), Hunter Casazza homered and scored twice. Garrett Callaghan also scored.

BOYS LACROSSE

Somerville 18, Randolph 10: Ryan Pedrani led Somerville (3-3) with five goals and one assist. Sean Kunz finished with four goals and one assist and Sam Taddesse scored four goals. Tommy Garrettson recorded a hat trick and one assist. Griffin Leblond scored twice. AJ Quade made 12 saves.

New Providence 14, Red Bank Catholic 4: Tyler Lawton finished with a hat trick and one assist for New Providence (2-3). Ryan Pope recorded two goals and two assists. Chas Cadmus and Thomas McGrath each scored twice. Jack Gertie added one goal and 10 ground balls.

Voorhees 14, Phillipsburg 9: Logan Raposo led Voorhees (4-0) with four goals and two assists. Patrick Evers had a hat trick and two assists. Alex Hufford added a hat trick and one assist. Kyle Stephenson chipped in two goals and one assist. Michael Stazzone made 17 saves.

North Hunterdon 11, Bernards 7: Connor McMahon scored four goals and Rob Scimeca added a hat trick for North Hunterdon (2-4). Bobby Brennan finished with two goals and one assist. Sean McQuade added one goal, 12 assists and 12 ground balls. Randy Ryan made 18 saves. For Bernards (4-2), Jack Warren recorded a hat trick. Curt Gouldin added one goal and two assists. Matt Tantleff chipped in one goal and one assist. Ethan Caldwell and Mike Parisi also scored.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Bernards 16, Madison 5: Paige Petty scored seven goals as Bernards improved to 7-0. Annie Thomas recorded two goals and three assists. Jenna McHale finished with two goals and two assists. Laurel McHale added two goals and one assist and Lily Simeon scored twice. Charlotte Grimm made 10 saves.

North Hunterdon 15, Voorhees 3: Nicole Perez led North Hunterdon (3-2) with seven goals. Samantha VanBelle scored twice. Maeve Green, Maeve Plassche, Abby Miller, Jen DuFresne, Katie Fullowan and Cassie McHugh also scored. Pauline Jaffe made nine saves. For Voorhees (0-3), Sarah Wittpenn scored twice. Emily Zobian also scored.

Mount St. Mary 18, Watchung Hills 8: Alaina Parisella finished with eight goals, two assists and 11 ground balls to lift Mount St. Mary (6-1). Jennah Santiago recorded four goals and one assist. Meghan Decker tallied a hat trick and two assists. Samantha Tush added two goals and three assists. Sabrina Morano made 10 saves. Katie Carroll led Watchung Hills (1-3) with a hat trick and one assist. Julia Rakin, Emery Jochnau and Julia Barton also scored.
