J.P. Stevens 5, Old Bridge 1: Ashley Lombardi allowed one earned run on five hits and struck out eight for J.P. Stevens (4-0). She also went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Emily Tavares doubled and had one RBI. Brianna Miller had two RBI and scored a run. For Old Bridge (2-2), Meaghan Dowdell finished 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI. Amanda Carney scored.

Colonia 5, J.F. Kennedy 4: Alyssa Gregor went 4-for-4 with a double, a run scored and drove in Lauren Wright in the bottom of the sixth to win the game for Colonia (2-6). Jessica Donovan doubled, drove in a run and scored a run. Frankie Brock had one RBI and one run scored. For J.F. Kennedy (3-3), Ashlee Ayr and Jillian Sims each tripled and had one RBI. Katie Baumgarten had two RBI and scored a run.

Monroe 15, Edison 0 (6 innings): Kiersten Flueger went 3-for-3 with a home run, a triple, a double, six RBI and three runs scored to pace Monroe (1-3). Sarah Stednowski pitched a shutout, allowed seven hits and struck out eight. Kylie Denncler went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored. McKayla Krajcsovics and Marion Fopeano each scored twice. Tori Giordano and Ashley Bienvenue each finished 2-for-3 for Edison (1-3).

South Brunswick 9, East Brunswick 4: Jaime Klemas went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored as South Brunswick improved to 4-0. Lindsey Warick homered, had two RBI and scored a run. Jessica Stadler went 2-for-2 with one run scored. Arin Delletier went 2-for-3 for East Brunswick (0-3) with one run scored. Sophia DeBellis had one RBI and scored a run.

Perth Amboy Tech 18, West Caldwell Tech 4 (5 innings): Jaylen Alvarez allowed four runs on two hits and struck out six as Perth Amboy Tech (2-0) won an NJTAC play-in round game. Alvarez also went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run scored. Daisy Arochoo finished 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored. Rebecca Haggerty went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Diana Bueno scored three runs.

Woodbridge 17, Perth Amboy 0: Jordan Vazquez went 2-for-5 with a double for Woodbridge (3-4). Brooke Timinski, Miranda Carroll and Samantha Carroll each had two hits. For Perth Amboy (0-4), Alyssa Kennedy, Kim Santiago and Angelica Mejia singled.

Carteret 5, Middlesex 2: Caitlyn Murray allowed two runs on five hits and struck out five for Carteret (4-0). Chloe Oblepias finished with two RBI. Melody Caces tripled and had one RBI. Bianca Oblepias doubled and scored a run. For Middlesex (3-2), Kristie Tackach doubled and had two RBI. Natalie Devine went 3-for-3 with one run scored. Ashley Dotey also scored.

South Plainfield 5, Bishop Ahr 1: Katherine Vill allowed one run on one hit and struck out four for South Plainfield (4-0), which scored four runs in the bottom of the third. Jillian Holoboski went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored. Angela Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Megan Herka doubled with one RBI for Bishop Ahr (2-1). Ryleigh Greenwald scored.

Sayreville 13, North Brunswick 5: Ryane Brush finished 5-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored for Sayreville (3-0). Kayla Stvan went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored. Jalyn Dzamba doubled twice, drove in two runs and scored four runs. Emma Herrick had two RBI. Kelly Duffy finished with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored. Duffy allowed five runs, three earned, and struck out 11. For North Brunswick (1-5), Kayla Scher tripled, drove in two runs and scored a run. Cassidie Speed doubled and had one RBI. Alyssa Contreras scored twice.

South River 10, East Brunswick Tech 0 (6 innings): Mackenzie Garrick pitched a no-hitter and struck out 13 as South River (2-1) defeated East Brunswick Tech (2-1). At the plate she finished 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored. Selena Gaspar recorded a double, two RBI and one run scored. Erin Kowalski scored twice.

Highland Park 16, Woodbridge Academy 9: For Woodbridge Academy (0-1), Chelsea Lopez went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored. Tamera Hutchinson went 2-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.

Dunellen 17, New Brunswick 2 (4 innings): Alex Steele went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored for Dunellen (2-2). Alex Reidy went 3-for-4, a triple, two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored. Brianna McAuley went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored. Kate Ruskuski went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and one run scored. She also allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and struck out five. For New Brunswick (0-4), Mohogany Hall and Nichole Rivas each had an RBI. Sha'Nya Lige and Maria Collado Matias scored.

Dayton 22, Rahway 2 (4 innings): Bianca Figueroa and Angela Peters each had one RBI for Rahway (1-2). Maggie Sadlon and Laniya Vargas scored.
