GIRLS LACROSSE

Monroe 19, Edison 5: Kara Turco set the school record for goals by scoring nine times and adding four assists for Monroe (3-0). Turco now has 163 goals, which broke the old record of 161 set by Jen Garavente in 2010. Turco now holds school records in goals, assists (151) and points (314). Ashley Patten finished with six goals and three assists. Lesley Lane scored twice and Courtney Frycz added four assists. Julianne Palmer made 11 saves. For Edison (0-2), Kayla LaPosta registered two goals and one assist. Cathryn Garcia, Idalise Mendez and Hemani Patel also scored.

North Brunswick 20, J.P. Stevens 3: Tory Tucci finished with four goals and six assists and recorded her 300th career point for North Brunswick (2-1). Cassie Oake registered five goals and five assists and Hayley Greenberg added four goals. Katie Panitch and Ianna Sukhram each scored twice. Elena Vargas, Julia Davies and Rhica Austin also scored. For J.P. Stevens (0-2), Marcella Cianfano scored twice. Harshita Jain added a goal.

Somerville 18, Watchung Hills 15: Camryn Rogers tallied nine goals and two assists to pace Somerville (2-1). Jennifer Williams recorded four goals and two assists. Kylee Garcia added a hat trick and Bryn Rolon chipped in two goals and one assist. For Watchung Hills (1-1), Katie Carroll led with five goals and three assists. Madelyn Murphy scored five goals. Haley Frey finished with a hat trick and Fallon Gourlay scored twice.

South Brunswick 16, South Plainfield 3: Shannen Sterner led South Brunswick (3-0) with five goals and two assists. Amanda Palumbo scored four goals. Lindsay Szucs and Briana Gonzales each tallied two goals and three assists. Emily Foltiny chipped in one goal and one assist. For South Plainfield (1-1), Haley Olsen had one goal and one assist. Olivia O'Leary and Erica Cieszkiewicz also scored.

Mount St. Mary 14, Rutgers Prep 0: Grace Gordon recorded a hat trick for Mount St. Mary (3-1). Alaina Parisella finished with two goals and three assists. Emma Genovese tallied one goal and six assists. Catherine Glackin, Whitney Pierce and Jennah Santiago each scored twice. Madison Mento made nine saves for Rutgers Prep (0-1).

Bridgewater-Raritan 17, Pingry 4: Ally Mastroianni led Bridgewater-Raritan (3-0) with four goals and one assist. Hannah Hollingsworth recorded a hat trick and three assists. Kirsten Murphy finished with a hat trick and two assists. Ally Stanton added two goals and one assist. For Pingry (0-3), Mairead Higgins and Mary Pagano each score twice.

Warren Hills 13, Voorhees 12: Emily Zobian scored eight goals to pace Voorhees (0-1). Emma Evanko scored twice. Lauren Schultze added one goal and two assists. Meredith Folson also scored.

Montgomery 15, Phillipsburg 2: Angela Masessa led Montgomery (1-2) with five goals and four assists. Sara Howard finished with five goals and one assist. Caroline Decker scored twice. Sophia Van Mol and Tori Bobal each added one goal and one assist.

East Brunswick 17, South Brunswick 11: Thomas Bahmer led East Brunswick (2-1) with eight goals and two assists. Jack Solimini finished with four goals and one assist. Tim Gudzak added two goals and two assists. Timmy Smith recorded one goal and seven assists. For South Brunswick (2-1), Shane Carneglia scored four goals. John Lanzalotto registered two goals and three assists. Shane Watts added two goals and two assists and Austin Haren chipped in two goals and one assist. Davey Weiss had one goal and two assists.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 11, Millburn 3: Noah Costanzo scored four goals as Scotch Plains-Fanwood improved to 3-0. Alex Oslislo and Robert Gordon each scored twice. Anthony Porter added one goal and two assists. Jack Brady chipped in three assists. Riley Guma finished with eight saves.

Summit 5, Westfield 2: Matthew Rittendale and Nick Bond scored for Westfield (1-1). Devon McLane added one assist and Jack McCauley finished with eight saves.

Voorhees 10, Cranford 7: Logan Raposo finished with five goals, one assist and 10 ground balls for Voorhees (2-0). Doug Lemenze scored twice. Kyle Stephenson, Patrick Evers and Alex Hufford also scored. Thomas Driscoll added three assists. Michael Stazzone made 16 saves.

Gill St. Bernard's 17, Morris Catholic 8: Nick Cooper led Gill St. Bernard's (2-0) with eight goals and three assists. Cameron Burns recorded four goals and four assists. Lake Jacobson added four goals and three assists. Will Dadouris made 12 saves.

Bernards 9, Kinnelon 7: Jack Warren scored four goals to pace Bernards (3-0). Chris Paciej scored twice. Ethan Caldwell, Dan McMenimen and Matt Tantleff also scored. JP Heppes made 12 saves.

Delaware Valley 10, New Providence 2: Matt Donnelly led Delaware Valley (2-0) with four goals and one assist. Tyler Neal scored twice. Tyler Lawton scored twice for New Providence (1-2).

Old Bridge 18, North Brunswick 1: Justin Fox finished with four goals and one assist to lift Old Bridge (). Micah Trawick recorded a hat trick and two assists. Alec Nguyen added one goal and two assists. Patrick Rosiak, Jake Savastano, Bryce Walker, Dylan Schwartz and Jack Starner each tallied one goal and one assist. Jonathan Lopez scored for North Brunswick (1-3) on an assist from Andrew Richardson.
