Girls Basketball: Union County Tournament bracket

The Patrick School, Roselle Catholic and Westfield were named the top three seeds for the Union County Girls Basketball Tournament, which was seeded on Wednesday.

The Patrick School, the No. 1 seed last year, defeated third-seeded Westfield 51-41 to win the title last season.

BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL: SCHEDULES THROUGH FEB. 11

The preliminary round must be played by Saturday and the first round needs to be played by Tuesday, Feb. 13. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16 and the semifinals will follow on Wednesday, Feb. 21. The championship is slated as a double-header with the boys and will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Kean University.
