GIRLS BASKETBALL

Spotswood 41, Dunellen 31: Savannah Robinson scored 18 points to lead Spotswood (15-5). Maddie Hellerich finished with 12 points, five rebounds, four steals, four blocks and two assists. Erin Malin contributed 10 rebounds, eight points, five blocks, five steals and four assists. For Dunellen (10-9), Alison McGrath recorded 16 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal. Chloe Cassidy added nine points, two rebounds and two steals. 

North Brunswick 41, Woodbridge 29: Kayla Scher led North Brunswick (11-8) with 13 points. Renee Hales scored 10 points. Kameron De Vogd finished with 12 points, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal for Woodbridge (11-8). Brooke Timinski added 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Piscataway 76, J.P. Stevens 43: Ariel Jenkins recorded a double-double for Piscataway (17-3) with 11 points, 11 rebounds and one steal. LaNiya Miller finished with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Yamirah Bennett posted 10 points, five assists, three steals and two rebounds. For J.P. Stevens (13-7), Kayla Gatling scored 15 points. Megan Duffy contributed 14 points. 

Sayreville 63, New Brunswick 56: Stephanie Van Note scored 19 points to pace Sayreville (13-7). Lyssandra Delacosta finished with 15 points and Serina Townes scored 14 points. Janeva Holland added 10 points. Aniyah Thomas recorded a double-double for New Brunswick (8-11) with 32 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Ciara McFarlane contributed 10 points, five steals and three rebounds. Nakima Lue chipped in nine points, 10 steals, six rebounds and two assists. 

South Plainfield 36, Colonia 24: MaKayla Sosa recorded a double-double for South Plainfield (9-11) with 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Mackenzie O'Brien finished with 20 rebounds, eight points, three blocks, three steals and two assists. Alexa Magliacano led Colonia (3-16) with 12 points and one rebound. Gianna Reilly added 10 rebounds, two points, two assists and one steal. 

Bishop Ahr 58, J.F. Kennedy 16: Emma Boslet recorded a triple-double for Bishop Ahr (21-0) with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 11 steals and three assists. Sara Decker finished with seven points, nine rebounds, two steals and one assist. Kassandra Griffin chipped in nine points and two steals. Olivia Sims led J.F. Kennedy (2-18) with four points. 

Linden 52, Elizabeth 47: Renee Rocha recorded a double-double for Linden (9-8) with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Lexis Rodriguez scored 20 points. Karisma Lewis finished with nine points, eight assists and seven rebounds. 

South Brunswick 41, Perth Amboy 23: Alexis Adams finished with 13 points, five rebounds, four blocks, three assists and one steal for South Brunswick (11-8). Sydney Coleman recorded 10 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal. Onoseta Ufuah totaled 11 rebounds, eight steals, seven points and four assists. Zaniera James scored 12 points for Perth Amboy (1-16). Angelica Holguin scored nine points. 

Union 55, Rahway 48: Wil'Lisha Jackson led Rahway (2-16) with a game-high 29 points, including four 3-pointers. Taylor Williams scored 10 points. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Watchung Hills 59, Hillsborough 55 (2OT): Mike Hopwood led Watchung Hills (14-6) with 16 points. Gavin DeFuria scored 13 points and Steven Bressler finished with 12 points. Chad Martini added 10 points. For Hillsborough (6-14), Jackson Parham recorded 12 points and Justin Brown totaled 11 points. 

Somerville 75, Belvidere 68 (OT): Ethan Hilliman finished with 32 points and seven rebounds to propel Somerville (7-13). Kevin Sokol recorded 12 points and five rebounds. Kyle Rolon totaled 12 points and four rebounds. Chris Elwood added 11 rebounds and eight points. 

Bridgewater-Raritan 59, Hunterdon Central 57 (OT): Sterling White posted 15 points to lead Bridgewater-Raritan (11-8). Justin Bryant and Aaron Gao each scored 10 points. For Hunterdon Central (12-7), Sean Oberman led with 20 points. Sam Johnson recorded 14 points. 

Gill St. Bernard's 97, Immaculata 62: Alex Schachne recorded a double-double for Gill St. Bernard's (16-3). Paul Mulcahy contributed 22 points and eight rebounds. John Yoss finished with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. BJ Honis led Immaculata (7-12) with 13 points. James Cummins added nine points. 

Piscataway Tech 64, J.F. Kennedy 60: Branden Barnes recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Piscataway Tech (17-5). Sergio Rodriguez finished with 28 points and six assists. Rohan Chakke led J.F. Kennedy (0-19) with 22 points. David Silva scored 11 points. 

Roselle Park 62, Manville 51: Jake Bentz led Manville (3-15) with 15 points, including four 3-pointers. Jason Brennan and Nasir Peek each added 13 points. 

St. Joseph (Met.) 72, Old Bridge 52: Howard McBurnie scored 19 points to lead St. Joseph (20-3). Luke Fresco recorded 17 points. Tyree Taganeca-Ford finished with 14 points. Julius Belton scored a game-high 23 points for Old Bridge (14-6). Mike Oliva added 17 points. 

Bound Brook 51, South Hunterdon 40: Jassiem Moore recorded a double-double for Bound Brook (11-8) with 11 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, three steals and one block. Jason Cuba posted 11 points, three assists, one rebound and one steal. Joe Armstrong led South Hunterdon (12-8) with 16 points. Quenton Beyha scored 12 points. 

Rutgers Prep 81, Montgomery 52: Trey Patterson recorded 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks to pace Rutgers Prep (11-6). Nate Lyles finished with 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Zach Martini chipped in 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal. Jonah Charles totaled 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal. For Montgomery (12-7), Kevin Fromelt and Riley Greene each scored 15 points. 

North Hunterdon 64, Ridge 60: Michael DelSantro led North Hunterdon (12-7) with 18 points and three assists. Wes Reinagel scored nine points. Ahman Cooks finished with seven poinnts, three assists and three steals. Chris Feringa and Mike DeMarco each scored 17 points for Ridge (9-10). Mike Zima added 10 points. 

Colonia 51, Edison 35: Kristian Chapmann led Colonia (11-8) with 20 points. Frank Lehmann and Luke Valeriano each scored eight points. Alkeim Raines recorded 10 points, two assists and one steal for Edison (12-10). Abu Kaikai finished with nine points and 10 rebounds. Christian Wantong added nine points, four rebounds and two blocks. 

North Brunswick 77, Woodbridge 71: Avery Claggett scored 20 points to lift North Brunswick (9-9). Maneet Batra and Jordan Salisbury each finished with 14 points. Chernoh Barrie and Delano Whitfield each added 12 points. For Woodbridge (10-9), Kyree Henry recorded 20 points. Curtis Nesbit totaled 17 points and Kemari Persol scored 13 points. Kenny Ibironke chipped in 11 points. 

North Plainfield 55, Warren Hills 50: Tony Godwin scored a game-high 23 points to lead North Plainfield (9-11). Sean Taylor scored 17 points. 

Voorhees 60, Pingry 52: Eric Schroeter and Wade Albore each scored 14 points to spark Voorhees (14-3). Matt Kroll recorded 11 points. Kyle Kokoskie added 10 points. Mike Weber led Pingry (4-14) with 18 points. Zach Aanstoots finished with 15 points and Shane Shannon chipped in 13 points. 

Sayreville 72, New Brunswick 66: Derek Astarita finished with 17 points to pace Sayreville (14-6). Elijah Clark scored 15 points and Zac Kaczmarek added 13 points. Ahyan Brown-Miller scored a game-high 23 points for New Brunswick (6-12). Kenneth Lebron scored 17 points. Nymir Belk chipped in 13 points. 

Bernards 49, Delaware Valley 28: Kyle Levine scored 19 points to lead Bernards (15-3). Owen Loughlin totaled 12 points. 

Rahway 52, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 47: Keyshawn Cummings finished with 20 points as Rahway improved to 18-1. Nicolas Galette scored 17 points. For Scotch Plains-Fanwood (15-4), Jack Brady scored 13 points. Dwight Laylor recorded 12 rebounds and six points. 

Perth Amboy 57, South Brunswick 49: Joshua Cabezudo led Perth Amboy (9-12) with 24 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Quasim Jackson scored nine points. For South Brunswick (0-17), Devin Strickland scored 19 points. Akhil Edekar posted 17 points. 

Roselle Catholic 70, Linden 55: Tavon Jones finished with 28 points, seven rebounds and three steals for Linden (14-5). Mikey Watkins totaled 11 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds. Luis Rodriguez chipped in 10 points, three rebounds, two steals and one assist. 

Bishop Ahr 67, Oratory Prep 51: Marquise Billingsley recorded a double-double for Bishop Ahr (16-4) with 13 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. Alex Santiago led with 18 points, three assists and three steals. Simon Llaguno finished with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. Rashan Ruff chipped in 10 rebounds, five points, five assists and five steals. Jalen Brooks added 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals. 

Gov. Livingston 61, Brearley 44: Matthew Faller scored 19 points to lift Governor Livingston (9-9). Tyler McCulloch finished with 13 points and Evan Reiner added 12 points. 

Somerset Tech 78, Sussex Tech 52: Elijah Bowers finished with 30 points, seven rebounds and four steals for Somerset Tech (6-10). Aamon Sparrow posted 16 points and eight assists. Brian Turck had 13 points six rebounds, nine assists and five steals. Harris Syed totaled 11 points. 

St. Mary (Eliz.) 70, Union Catholic 33: Ibn Lynn scored 15 points for Union Catholic (12-7).

Monroe 45, East Brunswick 30: Michael Kides scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Monroe (6-14). Kides set a new record for 3-pointers with 136. Luke Patel added 10 points. For East Brunswick (9-10), Travis Cumber recorded 12 points and Joe Sampson scored 11 points. 

ICE HOCKEY

Colonia 7, Old Bridge 1: Drew Galea scored twice for Colonia (16-2-1). TJ Evan and Travis Beni each had one goal and one assist. Luca Filocamo, Justin DiNatale and Nate Manente also scored. Jarrett Dulemba recorded three assists. Bryan Nieroda and Luke Bizub each finished with one assist. Adam Godfrey made 13 saves. For Old Bridge (7-9-3), Peter Hernandez scored on an assist from Nick Skliarenko. Vin Marzullo made 21 saves. 

Ridge 3, Summit 3: Luke Rich scored twice for Ridge (12-4-7). Alex Konovalov finished with one goal and two assists. Chris Ambrozy made 36 saves.
