BOYS BASKETBALL

Carteret 69, South River 43: Isaiah Daniels-Porter recorded a double-double for Carteret (16-4) with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two assists one block and one steal. Malik Austin finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. Jahlil Nix added 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Derrick Whitaker recorded 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals for South River (12-7). Zachary Rafano chipped in 14 points, three rebounds, three steals and one assist. 

New Providence 76, North Plainfield 72: Dylan Bedder recorded a double-double for New Providence (16-3) with 43 points, 26 rebounds, three blocks, one assist and one steal. Sean Dillon contributed 10 points, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals. Tony Godwin led North Plainfield (8-11) with 43 points, including nine 3-pointers. Sean Taylor scored 12 points.

Bishop Ahr 82, Middlesex 72: Rashan Ruff recorded a triple-double for Bishop Ahr (15-4) with 20 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals. Alex Santiago finished with 18 points, three steals and two assists. Kobe Walker added 15 points, two steals and one rebounds. Quadry Adams contributed 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jake Robel recorded a double-double for Middlesex (10-10) with 17 points and 18 rebounds. John Dickey scored 20 points. 

Timothy Christian 68, East Brunswick Tech 54: Robert Saydee scored a game-high 20 points to spark Timothy Christian (15-6). Lonnie Cardon added nine points. Jordan Horowitz led East Brunswick Tech (3-19) with 19 points. Nick Mistretta finished with 11 points and Paadi Amponsah scored 10 points. 

Piscataway Tech 61, Wardlaw-Hartridge 39: Branden Barnes finished with 14 points and eight rebounds to pace Piscataway Tech (16-5). Chris Zambonino recorded 11 points and Sergio Rodriguez scored 10 points. 

Somerville 81, Central Jersey College Charter 34: Quinton Gibbs led Somerville (6-13) with 15 points. Kyle Rolon scored 12 points and Eric Bryant finished with 10 points. 

Bridgewater-Raritan 68, North Hunterdon 66: Aaron Gao scored 16 points to lead Bridgewater-Raritan (10-8). Justin Bryant scored 14 points. John Sibiga recorded 11 points and Sterling White added 10 points. Wes Reinagel led North Hunterdon (11-7) with 17 points. Michael DelSantro chipped in 13 points. 

Ridge 42, Hillsborough 33: Jeremy McCavera led Ridge (9-9) with 13 points. Chris Feringa scored 10 points. Jacob Herrera added nine points, eight rebounds and seven assists. For Hillsborough (6-13), Jackson Parham recorded 14 points, two steals and one rebound. Justin Brown chipped in seven points, six rebounds and three steals. 

South Plainfield 48, Metuchen 40: Jalil Palms scored 16 points to lead South Plainfield (4-16). Ian McCoid added nine points. For Metuchen (6-14), Sohan Ullal led with 18 points. 

Highland Park 69, South Amboy 51: Dononvan Crawford led Highland Park (6-11) with 29 points. Connor Murcier scored 16 points and Dylan Darkwah added 13 points. For South Amboy (2-19), Kyle Gasiewski scored 23 points. John McCleery finished with 15 points. 

Dunellen 60, Perth Amboy Tech 59: Down 59-58, Noah Wenzel won the game for Dunellen (13-7) with a basket at the buzzer. Wenzel finished with eight points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist. Tyje Kelton recorded a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks. Drew Johnson contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Carlos Morla led Perth Amboy Tech (12-7) with 21 points. Yire Belliard scored 10 points. 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Pingry 59, Delaware Valley 47: Kelsey Ransom recorded a double-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and two assists for Pingry (12-6). Alyson Feeley finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, six steals and two assists. Megan Horn contributed 13 points, five rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks. Olivia Vope chipped in nine points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. For Delaware Valley (11-6), Margaret Affeld led with 13 points. Amanda Kix scored 12 points. 

Piscataway Tech 59, Wardlaw-Hartridge 15: Isabella Sosa scored 19 points to pace Piscataway Tech (14-5). Eumani Hollins recorded 15 points and Taina Lugo added 11 points. Audrey Vu led Wardlaw-Hartridge (0-14) with five points, five rebounds and two assists. Kristyn Smith finished with four points and six rebounds. Nadia Valcourt totaled four points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals. 

Carteret 56, South River 53: Amazey Pope-Williams and Taija'Ney McCollum each recorded double-doubles for Carteret (13-8). Pope-Williams finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. McCollum had 15 points and 10 rebounds. For South River (12-8), Ashley Fischer led with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Tara Beachem scored 19 points, including five 3s. Arielys Lopez scored 10 points.

Benedictine 45, Somerset Tech 31: Kala Wright recorded a double-double for Somerset Tech (8-8) with 14 points, 23 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Sarah Sconda added five points and five rebounds. Liliana Gomez finished with five points, four rebounds, four assists and one block.

New Brunswick 53, Colonia 42: Aniyah Thomas recorded a double-double with 22 points, 18 rebounds, three assists and two steals for New Brunswick (8-10). Nakima Lue contributed 12 points, eight steals, two rebounds, two assists and one block. Ciara McFarlane added 10 points, four rebounds, four steals and two assists. Alexis Banko finished with 12 points, three steals and one block for Colonia (3-15). Kaitlynn Kelly totaled 11 points, seven steals, three rebounds, one assist and one block. Gianna Reilly chipped in 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal. 

Middlesex 57, Mother Seton 23: Gianna Canavescio recorded 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block to spark Middlesex (18-2). Madison Johnson finished with nine points, five rebounds and one steal. Haley Logue contributed eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal. Jessica Bober led Mother Seton (1-13) with eight points. Brielle Robinson scored six points. 

Timothy Christian 47, East Brunswick Tech 24: Sierra Thomas finished with 17 points, seven steals and five rebounds to lift Timothy Christian (13-7). Rayza Michelen recorded 10 points, three assists, two steals and one rebound. Brianna Rolon led East Brunswick Tech (4-13) with 11 points. 

Bridgewater-Raritan 48, North Hunterdon 23: Meghan Ball led Bridgewater-Raritan (11-5) with nine points. Keiko Fox scored eight points and Jordyn Hawthorne chipped in seven points. Emma D'Alesandro scored five points for North Hunterdon (5-13). 

Linden 46, Hillside 19: Lexis Rodriguez finished with 14 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block for Linden (8-8). Rosibell Arias Peralta added 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and one block.

Perth Amboy Tech 48, Woodbridge Academy 26: Christina Crowe scored a game-high 31 points to lead Perth Amboy Tech (10-8). Daisy Arocho added 14 points. Asiyaah Khan led Woodbridge Academy (3-13) with 11 points and two rebounds. Chelsea Lopez recorded 12 rebounds, six points, two assists and one steal. Riya Hipara chipped in 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal. 

Westfield 41, Cranford 30: Molly Ryan recorded a double-double for Westfield (13-6) with 20 points, 10 steals, three assists and two rebounds. Faith Dobosiewicz finished with six points, three rebounds, four steals and one assist. Grace Elliott added four points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals. 

Gov. Livingston 43, Columbia 37: Fiona Kerr led Governor Livingston (8-10) with 15 points. Skylar Dowling scored 14 points. 

ICE HOCKEY

Montgomery 4, South Brunswick 3: Michael Hrudowsky led South Brunswick (9-8) with two goals and two assists. Matt Farley and Alex Advani each finished with one goal and one assist. Jackson Devine added three assists. Jeffrey Lin had one assist. For South Brunswick (5-14). Mason Jenne, Justin Guelph and Thomas VanPelt scored. Joseph Inzano, Ronit Thummaluru, Harin Ponna and Thomas Bansbach each had one assist.

Hunterdon Central 3, Millburn 3: James Coussoulle, Scott Schnell and Richard Stefanik all scored for Hunterdon Central (11-6-3). Will Chanlam, Cameron Kordonsky and Sasha Pace each added assists. Noah Dominick made 26 saves. 

Pequannock 5, Gill St. Bernard's 3: Liam Jones, Brennen Lavoie and Conner Usoff scored for Gill St. Bernard's (2-13-1). Vincent Cucci and AJ Donofrio each had one assist. Matt Cooper finished with 18 saves. 

Hillsborough 9, Manalapan 4: Jude Kurtas finished with four goals and two assists for Hillsborough (10-9-4). Lleyton Soares and Jason Wolff each recorded two goals and four assists. Mike LoRicco also scored. Mike Jandoli, Domenick Mazzaferro, Mike Panchery, Keegan McGowan, Sean Ely and Matt Palmer each had one assist. Danny Volonnino made 30 saves.
