Union Catholic's Sydney McLaughlin won a third-straight indoor track Meet of Champions title in the 400 meters on Sunday at the Bennett Center in Toms River.

McLaughlin took first in 53.17 seconds, which broke the old meet and facility record of 53.34 that she set last year. She also teamed up with Leena Morant, Felicia Quainoo and Cassandra Lamadieu and anchored the 4x400 relay as the Vikings won its third-straight title in 3:50.82, which was the fastest time by a New Jersey team this season and seventh in the United States so far this winter.

With Saturday's two medals, McLaughlin now has nine individual Meet of Champions titles and 14 titles overall.

Other local athletes won titles on Saturday, as Governor Livingston's Victoria Vanriele won the 800 meter run in 2:13.63. In the 4x800 meter showcase, Ridge's Meghan Convery, Brooke Fazio, Catherine Giuseffi and Katilyn Van Baalen combined to take first place in 9:14.47.

South Brunswick's Courteney Campbell continued her dominance in the high jump, winning a MOC gold by clearing 5-feet, 6-inches. Pingry's Julia Dannenbaum won the pole vault by clearing twelve feet.

Old Bridge’s Rey Rivera and Rahway’s Jordan West also won some hardware at boys indoor track Meet of Champions on Saturday.

Rivera won the 800 meter run, winning back-to-back MOC titles. He finished in a personal best 1:52.18. Last week at the Group IV meet, Rivera won the 800 in 1:53.17, which set a new meet record. The old record was 1:54.56, which was set by Rivera last season.

West also won back-to-back MOC titles, winning the shot put with a throw of 64-0.50.
