GMC Football: Johnson's 3 TDs power New Brunswick

Dylan Johnson rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to lead the New Brunswick High School football team to a resounding 41-6 victory over Monroe at Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

Aahyan Brown-Miller intercepted three passes including one which he returned for a touchdown as the Zebras (1-3) snapped a three-game losing streak with those defeats coming to the top three teams in the Home News Tribune’s Top 10 Greater Middlesex Conference rankings.

Dahvey Hicks contributed to a balanced running game with 100 yards and one touchdown on four carries.

Kerandy Gomez anchored the defense with three sacks.
Monroe fell to 1-3.
