North Hunterdon 42, Voorhees 10: Mitchell Finnegan scored twice as North Hunterdon topped Voorhees in the 41st annual Milk Can Game. Matt Busher, Eric Dehkes and Sean McQuade also scored for the Lions (5-4), who won this game for the fifth-straight year. Rory D'Alesandro connected on six extra points. For Voorhees (2-7), Colton Riley scored on a one-yard run and George Eberle kicked a 32-yard field goal.

Ridge 42, Watchung Hills 22: Reed Handabaka scored two rushing touchdowns and Dan Skea scored once on the ground to lead Ridge (8-1). Ryan Gogerty recovered a fumble and ran it back 16 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter and tossed a 22-yard touchdown pass to Devin Steiglitz in the fourth quarter. Tyler James forced a fumble and returned it for a 55-yard touchdown in the first quarter for Watchung Hills (1-8).

Hillsborough 20, Montgomery 12: Quarterback Matt Moore completed 9-of-15 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hillsborough (6-3). Dave Amankwaa caught seven passes for 34 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Parham made six catches for 106 yards and one touchdown. For Montgomery (3-6), quarterback Michael Patrizio was 28-of-41 for 160 yards and one touchdown. Ryan Cashman scored on a 15-yard pass and Jared Reinson scored on a one-yard run.

Immaculata 28, Phillipsburg 10: R.J. Thornburg scored three touchdowns to pace Immaculata (5-4). In the second quarter he caught a 39-yard pass from quarterback Nate Barnett, then scored two rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Barnett also scored on a one-yard run. Sean Gaffney scored on two two-point conversions.

Piscataway 52, Edison 14: Elijah Barnwell scored on runs of 28 and seven yards to pace Piscataway (6-2). Juwan Jackson and Keshawn Grant also scored. Mike Stalanyj connected on four extra points and kicked a 44-yard field goal.

Roselle Park 32, Manville 22: Quarterback Shane Demeter threw for two touchdowns for Manville (6-3). Jameer Campbell caught a 43-yard pass and Nasir Peek caught a 41-yard pass. TJ Caswell scored on a one-yard run and connected on two extra points. Matt Rogalski scored on a two-point conversion.

Dayton 28, South Hunterdon 7: Johnny Ludwig tossed a 51-yard touchdown pass to Sean Rolle for South Hunterdon (0-8). Eric Myers kicked the extra point.

Bernards 35, Pingry 8: Marc Murphy ran in two touchdowns and caught another on a 35-yard pass from Steve Gribben, and Matt Tantleff scored on a pair of runs as Bernards improved to 6-3. Jonah Walsh was a perfect 5-for-5 kicking extra points for the Mountaineers. Obi Nnaeto scored on a 60-yard run for Pingry (3-6).

Linden 38, Franklin 21: Brandon George scored three touchdowns to pace Linden (3-5). Franklin fell to 0-8.

Cranford 28, Delaware Valley 27: Jared Pershyn ran in a touchdown and threw for another, finishing with 130 passing yards and 64 on the ground, but 13 fourth-quarter points wasn’t enough for Delaware Valley to close the gap. Sean Lessig caught a 15-yard touchdown pass and ran an interception back for 20 yards for the Terriers (4-5). Del Val was eliminated from playoff contention by Raritan’s victory over Red Bank.
