GMC Tournament preliminary round

Timothy Christian 1, South River 1 (5-3 in penalty kicks): Goalie Elizabeth Odurro scored the winner in penalty kicks to lead No. 15 Timothy Christian (14-2-1). She also made three saves. Sarah Solorzano scored during regulation. For No. 18 South River (11-4-2), Kayle Bognar scored in regulation. Timothy Christian will face No. 2 East Brunswick on Saturday.

Colonia 1, Middlesex 0: Ally Poulakowski scored the game-winner to lead No. 19 Colonia (7-10). Kelly Silva made five saves. For No. 14 Middlesex (9-8), Nicole Fallon made 14 saves. Colonia will travel to No. 3 Bishop Ahr on Saturday.

Woodbridge 9, Mother Seton 3: Anjanie Gilzean scored four goals to lead No. 12 Woodbridge (). Olivia Gattone finished with two goals and three assists. Gabby D'Emilio added one goal and three assists. Emily Mazzarella had one goal and two assists. Eva Hernandez also scored. Jordan Vazquez and Vanessa Mondragon combined for eight saves. For No. 21 Mother Seton (), Emily Hayes scored twice. Shannon Wieszczek also scored. Jessica Fullem chipped in one assist. Woodbridge will play No. 5 Sayreville on Saturday.

South Plainfield 3, J.P. Stevens 2: Claire Nagel recorded a hat trick to lead No. 17 South Plainfield (6-11) to a come-from-behind victory. Leslie Mallqui added two assists. Madison Yeoman had one assist. For No. 16 J.P. Stevens (2-14), Andrea Maris and Ava Dul scored. Caitlyn Shannon finished with one assist. South Plainfield will face No. 1 Old Bridge in the first round on Saturday.

Bridgewater-Raritan 3, Piscataway 1: Morgan Winchock, Lauren Riga and Jezlyn Jimenez all scored for Bridgewater-Raritan (10-3-2). Allison Lowrey and Melanie Lytle added assists. Lela Allen scored for Piscataway (8-5-1).

North Hunterdon 3, Montgomery 0: Nina Bussanich led North Hunterdon (10-5) with one goal and two assists. Rebecca Fluchel and Madeline Wolf also scored. Olivia Ripnyak finished with eight saves.
