FOOTBALL: Jeffrey-Seawright stars in New Brunswick loss to Middletown North

Jahbree Jeffrey-Seawright had a stellar game at quarterback, but his effort was not enough for the new Brunswick High School football team, which dropped a 31-20 decision to Middletown North on Friday night.

Jeffrey-Seawright completed 6 of 19 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns for the Zebras, who fell to 1-4.

Kadas Reams caught nine passes for 130 yards. He hauled in two scoring strikes. Kyell Lewis had a 37-yard touchdown reception for New Brunswick, which trailed 17-7 at the half.

Nadir Hyman and Jeffrey-Seawright made 10 tackles apiece for New Brunswick. The latter also had an interception.
