Woodbridge 44, J.P. Stevens 0: The Barrons likely clinched a playoff berth with a dominant offensive explosion led by juniors Da’Avian Ellington (3) and Keshaun Henry (3) who combined for six touchdowns. Henry put Woodbridge (4-4) on the board immediately as he broke off an 80 yard touchdown run in the second minute of regulation. Quarterback Donavann Tabon found Quassim Glover for a 75 yard score shortly after to put the Barrons up two scores halfway through the first. Woodbridge’s offense continued to dominate J.P. Stevens, who fell to 1-5 on the season.

Bishop Ahr 20, Asbury Park 7: Junior Andrew Brazicki led the way for the Trojans, who improved to 6-2, with 207 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 35 carries. The Trojans’ running game continues to impress as they rushed the ball for 278 yards against Asbury Park (5-2). Christian Cardona added 17 yards on the ground on seven attempts while Jordan Wells added 23 rushing yards on one carry. Qaurterback Jordan Wells only threw the ball twice and completed both passes to Ben Prott for 30 yards. Marcus Adeniyi was a force on the defensive side of the ball as he finished the contest with eight tacklets, one sack and one forced fumble.

Freehold Borough 31, Edison 10: Quarterback Justin Turner completed 18 of 31 attempts and threw for 244 yards with one touchdown as Edison fell to 2-4-1. Keanu Reed had eight receptions for 147 yards and a score while James Stewart rushed for 28 yards on 13 carries. Dominic Kurtyan caught three passes for 53 yards while Austin Rivera caught two passes for 21 yards.

Freehold Township 36, East Brunswick 21: Quarterback James Schuld ran it once from 17 yards out and threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Alex Cammeron against Freehold Township (7-1). Kyle Wiggins punched it in from the two-yard line for the Bears, who fell to 1-6.

New Brunswick 31, Howell 20: New Brunswick’s running back Dylan Johnson rushed for 291 yards on 21 carries and finished the contest with three rushing touchdowns. Johnson’s first touchdown was a 75 yard run to put the Zebras up 7-0 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Johnson broke of an 85 yard touchdown run and a 77 yard score to give New Brunswick (3-5) a 19-0 lead at the half. Quarterback Jahbree Jeffrey-Seawright threw for 110 yards and one touchdown on 8 of 15 attempts. Kadas Reams caught four passes for 45 yards and one touchdown against Howell (4-4).

Jackson Memorial 27, Old Bridge 13: Nick Sodano scored on a three-yard run in the second quarter for Old Bridge (4-2-1). Artur Sitkowski scored on a four-yard run in the fourth. Jonathan Sammarco kicked one extra point.

Sayreville 35, Neptune 6: The Bombers improved to 6-2.

South Brunswick 34, Brick Memorial 14: South Brunswick improved to 5-2.

Highland Park 14, Point Beach 7: Highland Park improved to 5-3.
