1. East Brunswick (12-2-2)Last week No. 1: The second-seeded Bears cruised past 15th-seeded Timothy Christian in the GMCT first round on Saturday and will face off against 10th-seeded Wardlaw-Hartridge on Tuesday in the quarterfinals. Sabria Glasgow leads East Brunswick with 13 goals.

2. Old Bridge (11-3-1)Last week No. 2: With a 1-0 victory over 17th-seeded South Plainfield in the GMCT first round, the top-seeded Knights will play ninth-seeded South Brunswick in Tuesday’s quarterfinals. The Knights also topped Sayreville 2-1 on Monday in regular season action.

3. Piscataway (9-5-1)Last week No. 3: Fourth-seeded Piscataway beat 13th-seeded Edison 2-0 in the GMCT first round to advance to a quarterfinal matchup against fifth-seeded Sayreville on Tuesday. Lela Allen and Kaitlyn Zeeb lead the Cheifs’ offense with 11 and 10 goals, respectively.

4. South Brunswick (8-5-1)Last week No. 4: The ninth-seeded Vikings routed 8th-seeded Highland Park 4-0 in the GMCT first round and will next draw top-seeded Old Bridge in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. South Brunswick has not conceded a goal since Oct 6.

5. Sayreville (11-4)Last week No. 7: Sayreville ended a three game losing streak with a 3-0 victory over 12th-seeded Woodbridge in the GMCT first round. The fifth-seeded Bombers will play fourth-seeded Piscataway in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

6. Bishop Ahr (13-4)Last week No. 5: Expected to make a deep tournament run, the third-seeded Trojans dropped a heartbreaker to 19th-seeded Colonia on penalty kicks in the GMCT first round.

7. Spotswood (9-5)Last week unranked: Erin Thuring scored the game-winning goal with under four minutes to play to lead 11th-seeded Spotswood to a 2-1 upset victory over sixth-seeded Monroe in the GMCT first round. The Chargers will play 19th-seeded Colonia in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

8. Edison (13-6)Last week No. 8: After routing 20th-seeded Dunellen 6-0 in the preliminary round, the 13th-seeded Eagles fell in the GMCT first round for fourth-seeded Piscataway. Felicia Forsythe leads the Eagles with 38 goals on the season.

9. Metuchen (11-6)Last week No. 9: Seventh-seeded Metuchen was upset by 10th-seeded Wardlaw-Hartridge 2-1 in the GMCT first round. Mya Stolarski leads the Bulldogs with 24 goals and 16 assists.

10. Woodbridge (12-7)Last week No. 10: The 12th-seeded Barrons topped 21st-seeded Mother Seton 9-3 in the GMCT preliminary round, but were shut out by fifth-seeded Metuchen in the first round.

Dropped from the rankings: Monroe (6-9-1)

Also receiving consideration: Wardlaw-Hartridge (9-10), Highland Park (14-3), Timothy Christian (13-3-2), South River (11-4-2)
