Hunterdon Central 28, Watchung Hills 14: Hunterdon Central scored 28 unanswered points to improve to 5-3. Devin Trechock scored three rushing touchdowns to put the Red Devils ahead. Derek Scott connected on four extra points. Musa Hemby scored on a three-yard pass from Christian Shaw to start the scoring after a 17-play drive in the third quarter. For Watchung Hills (1-7), Nadir Beyah scored on an 80-yard pass from Jack Smith. Jeff Poggi also had an 18-yard interception return for a touchdown. Brian Puccio hit both extra points.

Voorhees 24, Warren Hills 13: Will Rodenberger caught six passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns to pace Voorhees (2-6). Colin Tong caught four passes for 156 yards and one touchdown. George Eberle completed 10-of-16 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Connor Brown threw for 25 yards and one touchdown. Kevin Thor finished with 11 tackles and one sack. Connor Brown had nine tackles and one sack.

Phillipsburg 24, North Hunterdon 17: Matt Busher scored on a 26-yard run and threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Berg for North Hunterdon (4-4). Busher also scored on a two-point conversion. Rory D'Alesandro kicked a 25-yard field goal.

Pingry 28, Newark Academy 7: Obi Nnaeto finished with 66 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown for Pingry (3-5). Clyde Leef scored on a 53-yard run and a pick six, which he returned 30 yards for a touchdown.

Brearley 27, New Providence 13: Michael Barletta finished with six catches for 93 yards and one touchdown for New Providence (1-6). Jack Gertie rushed 20 times for 72 yards and one touchdown. Jackson Barletta completed 9-of-20 passes for 143 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Joseph Nave finished with five tackles and one fumble recovery. Chris Reynolds had three tackles and a caused fumble.

Manville 42, People's Prep 12: TJ Caswell rushed 15 times for 174 yards and four touchdowns to lead Manville (6-2). He also connected on four extra points. Jameer Campbell rushed five times for 56 yards and one touchdown. Shane Demeter rushed three times for 22 yards and one touchdown and finished with three tackles and one fumble recovery. Matt Rogalski scored on a two-point conversion.

Hillsborough 43, Franklin 10: Senior tight end Jake Pollack grabbed two touchdown catches, and quarterback Matt Moore tossed three touchdowns as Hillsborough rolled to 5-3. Tyler Boatwright rushed 15 times for 126 yards and score for the Raiders, whose defense grabbed four interceptions on the night. Franklin (0-7) got its touchdown on a fourth-quarter kick return.

Ridge 26, Elizabeth 14: Aidan Murphy tossed three touchdowns, including two to Matt Rusiniak, and Reed Handabaka added a score, as Ridge won its sixth straight. Brandon Radice, who missed the first seven weeks with an injury, returned to the Red Devils lineup for the first time, grabbing a 23-yard scoring pass in the first quarter to open the scoring for Ridge (7-1). Elizabeth fell to 4-4.

A.L. Johnson 28, North Plainfield 14: Vincent Crisafi scored twice for AL. Johnson (4-3). North Plainfield fell to 1-6.

Bound Brook over Dayton by forfeit: The Crusaders improved to 7-1.
