Dunellen football team falls to Asbury Park

The Dunellen High School football team was limited to 138 yards on the ground in a 41-12 loss to Asbury Park on Friday night.

Jibril Hagood completed a 60-yard touchdown pass to Mike Harmon in the third quarter and Jacob Sanders had a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to account for Dunellen’s scoring.

Hagood finished with 77 yards from scrimmage. Pablo Manrique (27 yards), Jason Watung (25 yards) and Harmon (26 yards) contributed on the ground.

The Blue Bishops led 23-0 at the half and 35-6 after three quarters.
