Boykins, O'Shea, Boynton lead Highland Park football team to victory

Nasir Boykins rushed for 178 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Highland Park High School football team to a 43-3 victory over Middlesex on Friday night.

Boykins scored on runs of 85, 32, 18 and 9 yards. Backfield mate Nhakir Deloatch added a 68-yard touchdown jaunt.

Highland Park quarterback Ryan O’Shea, who last week became the school’s career touchdown passing leader, connected with Yuriy Protts on a 27-yard scoring strike. He completed 9 of 15 passes for 136 yards.

Sam Murphy caught three passes for 69 yards. Dylan Boynton carried 11 times for 71 yards. Highland Park, which led 21-0 at the half and 36-3 after three quarters, amassed 362 yards on the ground.

The Blue Jays rushed for 151 yards. John Kressbach led all Middlesex running backs with 83 yards on 13 carries. He also completed 3 of 14 passes for 78 yards.

Matt Semon’s 39-yard field goal accounted for Middlesex’s scoring.
