Cranford rounded out the top four, all of which received a bye into the quarterfinals. Governor Livingston was named the fifth seed and earned a bye into the second round.

Here is the first round schedule, which needs to be played by Saturday: 19-Roselle Catholic at 6-Summit; 18-Roselle at 7-Union Catholic; 17-Roselle Park at 8-Oratory Prep; 16-Union at 9-Plainfield; 15-Linden at 10-Dayton; 14-Johnson at 11-Rahway; 13-New Providence at 12-Hillside, winner at 5-Gov.
