1. East Brunswick (6-0-1)last week No. 1: With a 2-1 overtime victory over South Brunswick last Tuesday, the Bears remain the top-ranked team in the GMC. The Bears did tie against Hun on Friday, but they have yet to lose a game.  This week’s matchups against Red Division rivals Piscataway and Old Bridge will test the Bears’ untarnished record. Sabria Glasgow leads the Bears with seven goals.

2. Old Bridge (4-2-1)last week No. 6: After a 3-1 victory over Piscataway earned head coach Rob Lozzi his 200th career win with the program on Tuesday, Old Bridge finished the week with a scoreless tie against South Brunswick on Thursday. The Knights will attempt to knock off East Brunswick when they play each other Thursday afternoon. Nichole Adams and Mackenzie Willis each have scored four goals this season.

3. Piscataway (4-1-1)last week No. 3: Piscataway had a slow week with a loss to Old Bridge and a tie against Monroe, but the Chiefs remain in the third spot. They will have an opportunity to test their mettle when they face off against first-place East Brunswick on Tuesday. Sisters Lela and Jordyn Allen have been superb thus far, with Lela tallying three goals and three assists and Jordyn recording two goals and two assists.

4. South Brunswick (3-3-1)last week No. 2: After a tough overtime loss to East Brunswick on Tuesday, the Vikings rebounded nicely with a tie with division rival Old Bridge and a 4-2 victory over Wardlaw-Hartridge. South Brunswick has struggled to find consistency against a brutal schedule thus far but will look to start a winning streak this week.

5. Sayreville (6-1)last week No. 9: With wins against Woodbridge and Bishop Ahr last week, the Bombers rocket up five spots in the rankings this week. With games against North Brunswick, New Brunswick and Colonia this week, expect Sayreville to remain toward the top of the White Division. Lauren Attardi leads the Bombers with seven goals.

6. Bishop Ahr (6-1)last week No. 4: The Trojans lost their first game and conceded their first two goals of the season against Sayreville on Saturday but will look to get back on track against New Brunswick on Tuesday. Bishop Ahr has had a very balanced offensive attack this season, with 10 different players scoring at least once.

7. Metuchen (6-2)last week No. 10: After losing two of its first three games, Metuchen has now won its last five. During the winning streak, the Bulldogs have posted two shutouts and have scored a total of 16 goals. Mya Stolarski leads the Bulldogs with 11 goals and six assists.

8. Edison (5-2)last week No. 8: The Eagles lost their first two games of the season but have been on fire ever since, winning five games in a row. Over their last three games, the Eagles have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 17-1. Felicia Forsythe has scored 18 goals and has tallied five multi-goal games.

9. Woodbridge (5-3)last week No. 5: The Barrons dropped a tough 4-1 loss to division foe Sayreville on Thursday but came back with a vengeance with an 8-2 victory over North Brunswick on Saturday. Gabby D’Emilio has tallied 11 goals, and new goalkeeper Jordan Vazquez has made 56 saves.

10. Spotswood (5-2)last week unranked: After getting dropped from the rankings last week, Spotswood makes its second appearance in the Top 10 this week. The Chargers pulled out a gutsy 2-1 overtime victory over Wardlaw-Hartridge on Wednesday. Talented defender Erin Thuring returned from a sprained MCL and played her first game of the season on Wednesday.

Dropped from the rankings: Wardlaw-Hartridge (4-4).

Also receiving consideration: Highland Park (8-0), South River (6-2-1).
