Perth Amboy football falls to Freehold Twp.

Jeremiah Stevens scored both rushing and receiving touchdowns, but it wasn't enough as the Perth Amboy football team fell to Freehold Twp. 42-22 on Friday night.

Stevens rushed for a 15-yard touchdown, and had six catches for 43 yards and one touchdown for Perth Amboy (0-4). Trizzel Wingate also scored. Tyler Jack scored a two point conversion, had six carries for 31 yards and finished with two receptions for 66 yards.

Ken Carrilo rushed nine times for 55 yards and Jordan Gray also scored a two point conversion. Quarterback Tahjmere O'Neal was 9-of-19 for 115 yards and one interception. Mario Luna had a 65-yard interception return, and Tyrell Thomas had one interception.
