With a large returning core group, coach Inglin is expecting a good performance from the senior class. This senior class is the group Inglin began his career with at Delaware Valley, and he's hoping that they play up the level they're capable of. Evan Gundell is a great leader in the back, and has been the anchor of the defense since his sophomore year. Michael Ailara is also a skilled center back, who will be expected to fortify the defense. Leading the midfield are seniors Justin Fiaschetti and Zach Smith. Both players are verbal and have the ability to score. Newcomers: Sr. F David Wilson, Sr. M Jason Carranza, Sr. D Alex Marquez, Sr. M Hector Guevara, So. D Jonathan Guardado, So. G Danny Gonzalez.

Outlook: The outlook for North Plainfield this season is a strong one, despite losing two players to transfer and two key players to graduation. However, the Canucks were deep last year and will be even deeper this year. The back line, anchored by Frankie Dox, Eric Chavez and Floyd Ebanks Jr., started 15 of 18 games together last year. The goalie duties will be split between sophomore Danny Gonzalez and junior Edgar Castaneda. Returning midfielder Chris Medrano has held down the center of the field for the past two seasons. Partnered with Eric Acosta and Kenny Navas, North Plainfield's strength should be in the center of the field. The front line will be led by Ronaldo Garcia, who scored 23 goals last season and will finish when needed. Helping out Garcia will be newcomer David Wilson along with Kevin Forrester and Andrew Guanatagsi.
