Somerset County Tournament quarterfinals

Bridgewater-Raritan 50, Gill St. Bernard’s 48: Teresa Wolak poured in 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and Keiko Fox, Meghan Ball and Kordyn Hawthorne each helped out with seven points as fourth-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan advanced to the Somerset County Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2014 and won the season series with Gill St. Bernard’s after splitting a pair of regular-season meetings. Kristin Tribel aided the Panthers cause, grabbing eight rebounds, while Hawthorne finished with five boards. Bridgewater-Raritan will visit top-seeded three-time defending champion Rutgers Prep on Thursday. Nisani Santiago paced fifth-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s with 16 points, while Sydnei Caldwell added 13 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Rutgers Prep 72, Pingry 46: Leilani Correa went off for 31 points and seven rebounds and Chiara Tibbitt chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds to boost top-seeded Rutgers Prep. Alex Scariati and Andrea Gamboa each chipped in eight points for the three-time defending champion Argonauts, who will play host to No. 4 Bridgewater-Raritan in Thursday’s semifinals.

Franklin 70, Montgomery 29: Second-seeded Franklin will play host to third-seeded Watchung Hills on Thursday.

Regular season

Bernards 50, Kinnelon 39: Jenna Whelan scored 21 points and Abby Cawley notched a double-double, tallying 12 points and 10 rebounds, to lead Bernards (17-5). Jenna Scarpa chipped in 11 points in the victory.

Warren Hills 50, North Hunterdon 48: Aniya Stevenson scored 13 points and Kristen Newsome added 11 points to lead an inspired effort, but North Hunterdon fell to 5-18. Maria Newsome contributed nine points for the Lions.

Governor Livingston 56, New Providence 51: Skylar Dowling led the way for Governor Livingston, netting 20 points, and Paige Phillips added 14 points as Governor Livingston improved to 10-12. Fiona Kerr chipped in 12 points for the Highlanders. Alyssa Nook posted 12 points and 10 rebounds and Iris Kaloshi notched 11 points and eight boards for New Providence (6-20).

Benedictine 48, Somerset Tech 34: Rebeka Quagliato tallied 10 points and five rebounds and Giavanna Barras added six points and seven boards for Somerset Tech (10-13). Ritu Peddinti grabbed 10 rebounds for the Jags.
