ICE HOCKEY

South Brunswick 3, Old Bridge 2: Mason Jenne led South Brunswick (7-6) with one goal and one assist. Cole Armstrong and Thomas Bansbach also scored. Vincent Zhang and Thomas VanPelt each had one assist. Clayton Romanok finished with 32 saves. For Old Bridge (6-7-3), Alex Sech had one goal and one assist. Matt Kravets also scored. Peter Hernandez added two assists. Dylan Schroeder made 34 saves. 

Pingry 5, Notre Dame 1: Joe Faccone scored twice to lead Pingry (11-2-1). Jared Kordonsky and Nick Spinelli each recorded one goal and one assist. George Enman also scored. Eric Bush had three assists. Ryan Bush added two assists. Peter Papadopoulos finished with one assist and 19 saves. 

Colonia 4, Bernards 1: Drew Galea scored twice for Colonia (13-2-1). Luke Bizub, Garrett Ludwig and Jarrett Dulemba also scored. Travis Beni added two assists. Bryan Nieroda had one assist. Adam Godfrey finished with 34 saves. For Bernards (4-13-1), Peter Yarosh scored on an assist from Eddie Berman. Dylan Ballback made 31 saves. 

West Windsor-Plainsboro South 7, Edison 0: Parker McKenna made 39 saves and William Dominic finished with eight saves for Edison (0-16-1). 

Ridge 5, Hillsborough 5: Alex Konovalov led Ridge (11-3-5) with two goals and one assist. Saunder Smith, Max Maisenbacher and Colin Kirkwood also scored. Connor Villa and John Guiliano each had two assists. Spencer Charleson added one assist. Chris Ambrozy finished with 19 saves. For Hillsborough (7-9-4), Jude Kurtas recorded two goals and one assist. Domenick Mazzaferro scored twice. Max Lewicki had one goal and one assist. Lleyton Soares chipped in three assists. Mike Jandoli had one assist. Danny Volonnino made 22 saves. 

St. Joseph (Met.) 4, Paramus Catholic 1: Ty Carter finished with two goals and one assist to lead St. Joseph (8-7-1). Ryan Ozmanic recorded one goal and two assists. Daniel Bradshaw also scored. Steven Hollabaugh added two assists. Dean Rocco and Michael Sasso each had one assist. Eddie Kaiven made 18 saves. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Union Catholic 71, Westfield 61: Robert Miller led Union Catholic (10-7) with 19 points. Ibn Lynn finished with 18 points and Justin Archer scored 17 points. For Westfield (3-13), Adam McDaniel scored a game-high 22 points. Matt Crowley recorded 19 points and Mark Natiello added 15 points. 

Dunellen 68, Timothy Christian 65 (OT): Tyje Kelton recorded a double-double for Dunellen (9-7) with 23 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks. Drew Johnson finished with 19 points, three rebounds and one steal. Nazir Martin chipped in 10 points, three rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist. Robert Saydee scored a game-high 40 points for Timothy Christian (11-5), including a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime. Pierce Kokosinski scored 14 points. 

Metuchen 63, Spotswood 51: Amari Whitehead scored 21 points to lead Metuchen (6-10). Daniel Petto recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Daniel Russell finished with 14 points. Matt Vento led Spotswood (9-7) with 17 points. Abdullah Nieskens added 15 points. Vincent Guardiola scored 12 points. 

South River 71, South Plainfield 64: Joseph Nigro recorded a double-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals to pace South River (8-6). Derrick Whitaker finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. For South Plainfield (3-13), Jalil Palms and Ian McCoid each scored 15 points. Joe Siegenthaler added 14 points. 

Bernards 50, Middlesex 32: Cubby Schuller scored 13 points to lift Bernards (12-3). Alex Kotwick recorded 12 points and Owen Loughlin chipped in 11 points. Tyler Ha led Middlesex (10-6) with 12 points. Jake Robel added nine points. 

Perth Amboy Tech 58, Highland Park 48: Carlos Morla scored a game-high 24 points to spark Perth Amboy Tech (11-4). Mauricio Arias finished with 15 points. Connor Murcier led Highland Park (5-8) with 20 points. Donovan Crawford scored 11 points. 

Piscataway Tech 63, East Brunswick Tech 42: Branden Barnes and Daniel Peacock each scored 19 points to lead Piscataway Tech (12-4). 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Spotswood 70, Metuchen 42: Savannah Robinson led Spotswood (11-4) with 13 points, two assists, one rebounds, one block and one steal. Jessica Addesso finished with 11 points and one rebound. Sarah Marotta recorded 10 points, four assists and two rebounds. Erin Malin added 13 rebounds, eight points, eight blocks, six steals and one assist. Courtney Potter chipped in 13 rebounds, eight points, three assists, two steals and one block. For Metuchen (3-11), Rory Josell scored 19 points. 

Piscataway Tech 55, East Brunswick Tech 16: Isabella Sosa scored 22 points to lead Piscataway Tech (11-4). Eumani Hollins added 13 points. Grace D'Amato scored five points for East Brunswick Tech (2-12). 

South Amboy 35, Wardlaw-Hartridge 22: Julie Olivieri led South Amboy (5-11) with 12 points. Alexis Calisti scored 10 points. Ruqaiyaj Syed scored eight points for Wardlaw-Hartridge (0-11). Audrey Vu added six points, two rebounds and one steal. 

Sinai Christian 91, Somerset Tech 22: Rebeka Quagliato finished with 10 points and one rebound for Somerset Tech (7-5). Ritu Peddinti added four points, three rebounds and one steal. Kala Wright contributed five rebounds, two points, two blocks and one steal. 

Middlesex 54, Dunellen 35: Carly Santucci finished with 16 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists as Middlesex improved to 14-0. Brianna Montajes added 10 points, five rebounds, one assist and one block. Olivia Robel totaled 12 rebounds, five points, five steals, two assists and one block. Alison McGrath finished with 15 points, three steals and two rebounds for Dunellen (8-7). Chloe Cassidy finished with 14 points, three rebounds and three steals.
