ICE HOCKEY

Colonia 11, Edison 0: Drew Galea led Colonia (11-2-1) with four goals and four assists. TJ Evan finished with four points and two assists. Luca Filocamo and Justin Yunckes each recorded one goal and one assist. Dante Amato and Jarrett Dulemba each had three assists. Ryan Snyder and Travis Beni each added two assists. Lucas Teeple made four saves. For Edison (0-15-1), Parker McKenna made 22 saves. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Somerset Tech 78, East Brunswick Tech 62: Norbert Malik recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, eight steals and three blocks for Somerset Tech (4-7). Elijah Bowers finished with 32 points, seven rebounds, eight steals, six assists and four blocks and became the school's all-time leading points scorer with 1,310 points. Harris Syed added 13 points, five rebounds and four assists. Aamon Sparrow chipped in 10 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Paadi Amponsah led East Brunswick Tech (3-13) with 30 points. Chris Rosa scored 16 points. 

Carteret 61, Perth Amboy 58: Isaiah Daniels-Porter recorded a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and two assists to pace Carteret (12-3). Austin Malik also had a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Jahlil Nix added 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal. For Perth Amboy (4-9), Johnathan Wilkins finished with 15 points. Joshua Cabezudo scored 14 points and Adam Gornowicz Jr. chipped in 12 points. Alfeny Javier scored 11 points. 

Steinert 58, Spotswoood 53: Vincent Guardiola scored 17 points for Spotswood (8-6). Abdullah Nieskens and Jack Welsh each finished with 12 points. 

Piscataway Tech 63, South Plainfield 62: Branden Barnes poured in 17 points to spark Piscataway Tech (10-4). Josh Lugo finished with 15 points. Sergio Rodriguez scored 13 points and Daniel Peacock added 11 points. For South Plainfield (2-11), Gio Dudley led with 20 points. Jalil Palms recorded 16 points and Dondre Tate chipped in 12 points. 

Perth Amboy Tech 58, Urban Leadership Charter 47: Carlos Morla led Perth Amboy Tech (9-4) with 17 points. Mauricio Arias added 15 points. 

North Brunswick 57, Edison 46: Delano Whitfield scored 15 points to pace North Brunswick (5-7). Maneet Batra finished with 13 points and Chernoh Barrie added 10 points. Christian Wantong led Edison (7-7) with 13 points, eight rebounds and one steal. Alkeim Raines tallied 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Immaculata 69, North Hunterdon 67: Stephen Dwyer recorded a double-double for Immaculata (6-7) with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Jared Chambliss totaled 24 points and seven rebounds. For North Hunterdon (7-5), Wes Reinagel scored 16 points. Xander Braun finished with 15 points and Ahman Cooks scored 11 points.  

Plainfield 70, New Brunswick 68 (OT): Romey Talley scored 26 points to lift Plainfield (7-7). Jalil Lee finished with 15 points and Dante Porter added 14 points. For New Brunswick (3-9), Ahyan Brown-Miller led with 26 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Nymir Belk tallied 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one steal. Tahjay Moore recorded a double-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks and two assists. 

Roselle Park 65, Highland Park 42: DeClan Walsh led Highland Park (5-7) with nine points, one rebound and one steal. Connor Murcier finished with seven points, one rebound, one steal and one block.

Koinonia 80, South Amboy 42: Kyle Gasiewski scored 21 points for South Amboy (1-14). John McCleery chipped in 10 points. 

Middlesex 62, Dunellen 56: Tyler Ha led Middlesex (10-4) with 21 points. Jake Robel finished with 14 points and John Dickey added 12 points. Tyje Kelton recorded a double-double for Dunellen (7-7) with 26 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block. Drew Johnson chipped in 15 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks. 

Manville 63, Warren Tech 38: Jason Brennan recorded a double-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist for Manville (3-8). Dave Fabiyan totaled 10 points, four rebounds and two steals. Nasir Peek added seven points, five rebounds, eight steals, three assists and one block.

Old Bridge 55, J.P. Stevens 47: Mike Oliva scored a game-high 20 points to lead Old Bridge (10-4). Julius Belton contributed 14 points. Zack Sobieski added 10 points. Solomon Smith led J.P. Stevens (6-7) with 10 points. Elisha Smith scored nine points. 

South Hunterdon 62, Delaware Valley 51: Eric Myers finished with 19 points to spark South Hunterdon (8-5). Jack Myers recorded 16 points and Joe Armstrong scored 15 points. Brandon Bernhardt led Delaware Valley (6-7) with 17 points. Jack Skibinski added 11 points. 

Summit 65, New Providence 57: Sean Dillon recorded 18 points, including four 3-pointers, four steals and two assists for New Providence (10-3). Dylan Bedder finished with 11 points and seven rebounds. Brian Kelly chipped in 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. 

Rahway 85, North Plainfield 47: Keyshawn Cummings finished with a game-high 28 points as Rahway remained undefeated at 12-0. Zion Pendleton scored 19 points and Nicolas Galette added 11 points. For North Plainfield (5-7), Sean Taylor scored 13 points. Tony Godwin totaled 12 points and Dlavar Athar chipped in 11 points. 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Immaculata 48, North Hunterdon 45 (OT): Naiya Jefferson led Immaculata (3-10) with 14 points, three rebounds, three assists and one steal. Tara Ryan added 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal. For North Hunterdon (3-8), Maria Newsome finished with a game-high 22 points. 

Watchung Hills 63, Morristown 52: Julia Cunningham recorded 19 points, seven rebounds and seven steals to lead Watchung Hills (11-1). Jayden Baltuch scored 12 points. Scarlett Glasses-Nells and Alyssa Killeen each added 10 points. 

Somerville 55, Timothy Christian 26: Reilly Sheeley finished with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals for Somerville (11-3). Kelsey Mehan totaled eight points, six rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist. Sara Tavares added eight points and two rebounds. For Timothy Christian (9-4), Rayza Michelen scored nine points. 

Somerset Tech 31, East Brunswick Tech 20: Kala Wright led Somerset Tech (6-4) with nine points, 19 rebounds and three blocks. Anna Ramos recorded eight points, 14 rebounds, four steals and one block. Liliana Gomez chipped in six points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, three steals and two assists. Lindsey Kuhlthau led East Brunswick Tech (2-10) with 10 points. Grace D'Amato finished with eight points. 

Calvary Christian 26, Wardlaw-Hartridge 11: Gianna Johnson and Cassie Percoco each scored five points for Calvary Christian (3-7). Nadia Valcourt finished with four points, five rebounds, three steals and two blocks for Wardlaw-Hartridge (0-9). 

Piscataway 69, Monroe 49: Ariel Jenkins recorded a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and one assist for Piscataway (12-2). Yamirah Bennett finished with 14 points, four assists, three rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Saniya Myers totaled 12 points, nine rebounds and one block. Dylianny DeLeon scored 16 points for Monroe (3-10). Adrianna Coniglio added 14 points. 

Dunellen 60, South Amboy 26: Alison McGrath recorded 10 points, six assists, three steals and three blocks to lead Dunellen (7-6). Chloe Cassidy tallied 11 points, three rebounds, three steals and one block. Salma Abouelkheir added six points, nine rebounds, one assist and one block. For South Amboy (4-9), Julie Olivieri recorded a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks, three steals and one assist. Renee Piazzolla chipped in 11 points, five steals, three rebounds and two assists. 

Manville 63, Warren Tech 28: Zytajsha Abner recorded a double-double with 12 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and two steals for Manville (7-6). Angelina Sanchez totaled 17 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, three steals and two assists. Holly Cornelson added 13 points, five steals, one assist and one block. Sioni Robinson chipped in 12 points, six points, eight steals and one assist. 

South Plainfield 35, North Brunswick 33: Mackenzie O'Brien recorded a double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks for South Plainfield (6-7). Syleen Reyes chipped in 10 points, three steals, two assists and one rebound. Kelsi Moody led North Brunswick (5-7) with eight points. 

New Providence 42, Hillside 28: Alyssa Nook recorded a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and three steals to pace New Providence (4-11). Olivia Faucher finished with eight points, four rebounds and four assists. 

East Brunswick 40, South Brunswick 37: Nicole Johnson led East Brunswick (12-0) with 17 points. Lauren Krinsky scored eight points. For South Brunswick (8-4), Alexis Adams recorded a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and one assist. Onoseta Ufuah finished with eight points, five rebounds, three assists and five steals.
