Streaming live audio play-by-play

Luca Rispoli, a former Old Bridge High School wrestler and current NJSIAA referee, will provide streaming live audio play-by-play of the conference tournament semifinals and finals. The Greater Middlesex Conference Wrestling Coaches Association named Rispoli its 2012-13 Media Person of the Year for his outstanding work with MyCentralJersey.com’s On the Mat wrestling blog. Former Perth Amboy coach Mike Giordano and former East Brunswick coach Bob Cancro will provide play-by-play and color commentary of all 14 finals bouts, which will be available for replay at MyCentralJersey.com. A link to the finals replay will be provided on this page early next week.

Tournament schedule

READ: South Plainfield looking to use GMC tournament as spring board to success

Preliminary and prequarterfinal rounds immediately follow the introduction of senior wrestlers on Friday at 5 p.m.

Quarterfinals commence at 10 a.m. Saturday and will be immediately followed by the semifinals, consolation quarterfinals and consolation semifinals.

The consolation finals for third, fifth and seventh place commence Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

The finals will begin Saturday at 6 p.m.

Admission

On Friday, all-session passes, valid for admission to every round of the tournament, can be purchased at $17 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.

Admission to Friday night’s preliminary and prequarterfinal rounds only is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.

An all-day pass for Saturday can be purchased until 3 p.m. at $14 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.

Final round tickets can be purchased after 3 p.m. at $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.

No morning session only tickets will be sold on Saturday.
