GIRLS BASKETBALL

Mount St. Mary 56, Pingry 51: Alana Rocco posted 18 points and five rebounds as Mount St. Mary (10-5) scored a huge Skyland Conference Valley Division victory. Alyson Freeley tallied 21 points, 15 rebounds and six steals and Megan Horn tallied 14 points, six rebounds and six steals to pace Pingry (10-5).

Montgomery 39, North Hunterdon 27: Andrea Katramados scored 15 points and Kristin Lucht added nine points to propel Montgomery (14-3). Maria Newsome netted 13 points to pace North Hunterdon (5-10).

J.P. Stevens 61, Sayreville 49: Megan Duffy scored 26 points and Kayla Gatling added 12 points to boost J.P. Stevens (11-6). Kiarah Turner chipped in 11 points for the Hawks. Jackie Ventricelli scored 18 points and Jaci Jurkewicz notched 14 points to pace Sayreville (10-6).

Bishop Ahr 57, South Brunswick 44: Emma Boselt notched 30 points and 10 rebounds and Morgan Maguire chipped in 10 points to fuel Bishop Ahr (18-1). Alexis Adams tallied 17 points and five rebounds and Sydney Coleman added 14 points to lead South Brunswick (9-7).

Rutgers Prep 58, Hunterdon Central 18: Chiara Tibbitt scored 10 points and Alexandra Scariati notched nine points as Rutgers Prep clinched its third straight Skyland Conference Delaware Division title. The Argonauts are 13-3. Central is 7-9.

Westfield 68, Governor Livingston 33: Molly Ryan tallied 16 points and seven steals, and Lauren Sgro added 15 points and 10 rebounds as Westfield improved to 11-5. Samantha Stravach chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Skylar Dowling scored 18 points to pace the Highlanders (5-10).

Bound Brook 65, South Hunterdon 20: Arianna McCleod netted 17 points and Cameron Ward added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists to fuel Bound Brook (15-1). The Crusaders clinched at least a co-championship of their second straight Skyland Conference Mountain Division title. Kate Robinson scored five points to pace South Hunterdon (2-14).

Watchung Hills 66, Immaculata 35: Senior Julia Cunningham notched 25 points and 11 rebounds as Watchung Hills rolled. Senior Alyssa Killeen pitched in 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors (14-1).  Aniya Jefferson paced the Spartans (3-14) with 16 points.

Bernards 52, Manville 15: Jenna Whelan tallied 17 points and nine rebounds, and Brianna Harzula added nine points to fuel Bernards (10-4). Angelina Sanchez netted five points to pace Manville (8-9).

Somerville 54, Warren Hills 47: Kelsey Mehan tallied 18 points and seven rebounds and Christina Cernuto notched 12 points and five steals as Somerville won its 10th straight. Meghan Douglas chipped in six points, six assists and 14 rebounds for the Pioneers (15-3).

Belvidere 30, North Plainfield 24: Kierra Adams scored nine points and Kayla Adams added six points for North Plainfield (4-11).

Delaware Valley 36, Voorhees 22: Margaret Affeld scored 12 points and Kelsey Crawford added eight points to send Delaware Valley (9-5). Jenna Baranek netted 11 points for Voorhees (5-10).

Ridge 43, Hillsborough 34: Sophie Beneventine and Sammy Weyrauch each scored 13 points as Ridge improved to 9-8. Dani Pescatore notched 10 points and Olivia Buckman scored eight points for Hillsborough (7-9).

Franklin 78, Phillipsburg 42: Diamond Miller netted 22 points and Keona Schenck added 15 points to deliver Franklin (9-7). Kennady Schenck chipped in 12 points in the victory.

Gill St. Bernard’s 49, Bridgewater-Raritan 41: Ariel White notched 13 points and 11 rebounds and Christina Dalce added 10 points and seven rebounds to boost Gill St. Bernard’s (8-5). Caileigh Walsh added 10 points and eight rebounds in the victory.

Old Bridge 69, Bishop Ahr 68: Mike Oliva scored 20 points and Julius Benton added 15 points to lead Old Bridge (12-5). Ryan Delacuesta chipped in 13 points for the Knights. Alex Santiago posted 24 points and five assists and Quadry Adams added 18 points and six rebounds for Bishop Ahr (12-4).

Linden 62, Plainfield 49: Tavon Jones led Linden with 27 points and 11 rebounds and Myles Ruth added 15 points to send the Tigers to 12-4. Luis Rodriguez contributed 11 points to the victory. Romey Talley tallied 14 points and Dante Porter notched 11 points for Plainfield (7-10).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Gill St. Bernard’s 73, Bridgewater-Raritan 46: Paul Mulcahy scored 23 points and Alex Schachne added 21 points to power Gill St. Bernard’s (14-3). John Yoss chipped in 15 points for the Knights. Justin Bryant, Dan Banz and Aaron Gao each scored seven points for Bridgewater-Raritan (8-7).

Woodbridge 87, South Plainfield 51: Curtis Nebit led the way with 23 points as Woodbridge improved to 9-7. Kesean Glover and Kemari Persol each scored 18 points for the Barrons. Julian Lee scored 17 points and Gio Dudley netted 14 points for South Plainfield (3-13).

North Hunterdon 71, Montgomery 62: Michael DelSantro and Paul Woohouse each scored 21 points to boost North Hunterdon (11-6). Kyle Howard scored 23 points and Kevin Fromelt tallied 14 points for Montgomery (9-6).

Watchung Hills 59, Immaculata 44: Dan Pilsbury scored 27 points and Steven Bressler added 12 points for Watchung Hills (12-6). Gavin DeFuria chipped in 10 points in the victory. Stephen Dwyer notched 22 points and Jared Chambliss scored 11 points for Immaculata (7-10).

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 58, Governor Livingston 42: Tommy Drubulis netted 13 points and Dwight Laylor added 11 points to boost Scotch Plains-Fanwood (14-2). Matthew Schman scored 10 points to pace the Highlanders (8-7).

Bernards 42, South Hunterdon 38: Kyle Levine scored 10 points and Owen Loughlin netted nine points for Bernards (13-3). South Hunterdon is 11-6.

Hunterdon Central 64, Phillipsburg 55: Sean Oberman scored 16 points and Sam Johnson notched 13 points for Hunterdon Central (10-6).

Edison 57, Monroe 42: Christian Wangtong tallied 19 points ans seven rebounds and Abu Kaikai delivered 17 points and 10 rebounds for Edison (11-8). Fritz Frage tallied 12 points and Sashank Sindhia netted nine points for the Falcons (5-12).

Rutgers Prep 77, Hillsborough 52: Richie Greaves scored 25 points and Nate Lyles added 12 points and eight rebounds to fuel Rutgers Prep (9-5). Jonah Charles tallied 10 points, six rebounds and six assists in the victory. Dante Walker notched 13 points and Justin Brown added 11 points and six boards for Hillsborough (5-11).

Bound Brook 48, Warren Hills 46: Jayden Hill posted 20 points and six rebounds and Jassiem Moore notched 11 points and 10 assists to send Bound Brook (10-7). Peter O’Connor pitched in 13 rebounds in the win.

North Brunswick 57, Perth Amboy 56: Jordan Salisbury led North Brunswick (7-8) with 15 points. Delano Whitfield scored14 points and Maneet Batra finished with 12 points. Quasim Jackson recorded 14 points for Perth Amboy (7-11). Joshua Cabezudo scored 12 points. 

Old Bridge 69, Bishop Ahr 68: Mike Oliva scored 20 points to lead Old Bridge (12-5). Julius Belton finished with 15 points. Ryan Delacuesta added 13 points. For Bishop Ahr (12-4), Alex Santiago recorded 24 points, five assists, three steals and one rebound. Quadry Adams posted 18 points, six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. Jack Roarty chipped in 10 points and four rebounds. 

Linden 62, Plainfield 49: Tavon Jones recorded a double-double for Linden (12-4) with 27 points, 11 rebounds and one steal. Myles Ruth finished with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal. Luis Rodriguez added 11 points, two assists, one steal and one rebound. Romey Talley led Plainfield (7-10) with 14 points. Dante Porter scored 11 points. 

Rahway 73, Roselle 67: Nicolas Galette led Rahway (16-0) with 20 points. Zion Pendleton scored 18 points. Keyshawn Cummings finished with 17 points and Tahlee Bailey added 11 points. 

South River 61, Koinonia 51: Joseph Nigro finished with 21 points and eight rebounds to pace South River (10-6). RJ Fischer added nine points and five rebounds. Michael DeSantis recorded eight points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. 

Franklin 50, Ridge 34: DeWarren Watkins scored a game-high 17 points to lift Franklin (5-10). Dominic Wright added 14 points. Jeremy McCavera led Ridge (8-8) with 12 points. 

Belvidere 52, Pingry 47: Mike Weber scored 12 points for Pingry (3-12). Nathan Hefner chipped in 10 points. 

ICE HOCKEY

Oratory Prep 4, Old Bridge 2: Peter Hernandez and David Kish scored goals, but Old Bridge fell to 6-8-3. Dylan Schroeder made 18 saves for the Knights.
