ICE HOCKEY

Old Bridge 10, Red Bank Regional 1: Peter Hernandez led Old Bridge (2-3-1) with two goals and three assists. Rishab Nukala finished with two goals and one assist. Matt Kravitz scored twice. David Kish and Alex Sech each had one goal and one assist. Josh Kravetsky and Chris Kennedy also scored. Justin Greene and Nick Skliarenko each had one assist. Dylan Schroeder finished with 24 saves. 

WRESTLING: RESULTS FROM AROUND THE STATE FOR DEC. 27

Watchung Hills 9, Mendham 1: Michael Brody recorded a hat trick and three assists for Watchung Hills (2-5) at the Essex Holiday Tournament. Liam Feeley finished with two goals and one assist. Vin Marino tallied one goal and two assists. Peter Messineo added one goal and one assist. Dan Hadowanec and Gio Falk also scored. Michael Ciampa and Kyle Geddes each had one assist. 

Pope John 12, Hillsborough 2: Brock Forrest and Mike LoRicco scored for Hillsborough (2-6-2). Lleyton Soares, Jude Kurtas, Max Lewicki and Mike Jandoli each had assists. Jake Silver made 21 saves and Alex Delesky finished with five saves. 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Middlesex 69, Highland Park 9: Gianna Canavescio finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal for Middlesex (4-0)at the Clem Santy Tournament at Dunellen. It was coach Kevin Harper's 600th career victory. Carly Santucci recorded 16 points, six steals, two assists and one rebound. Olivia Robel chipped in 10 rebounds, five points, seven steals and five assists. Aiya Underwood, Elizabeth Hardy, Tiyanah Garrett and Sofia Juliani all scored for Highland Park (0-4). 

North Hunterdon 57, Dickinson 24: Maria Newsome and Alexa Vasile each scored 11 points for North Hunterdon (1-3) at the A.L. Johnson Holiday Tournament. Aniya Stevenson added nine points. 

Plainfield 57, Perth Amboy 27: Tahani Helms-Ishmael scored a game-high 23 points for Plainfield (1-3), which is playing in the Lady Zebra Classic at New Brunswick. Jailah White added 12 points. Zaniera James led Perth Amboy (0-4) with nine points. 

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 52, North 13th St. Tech 18: Abbe-Gayle Burton scored 23 points to pace Scotch Plains-Fanwood (3-1). Brianna O'Brien and Meghan Duthie each added six points. 

Westfield 42, Immaculata 26: Samantha Stravach led Westfield (2-1) with 12 points, eight rebounds and two assists at the Len Sepanak Tournament at Ridge. Faith Dobosiewicz finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Molly Ryan added 10 points, four blocks, one rebound and one assist. Margo Cherry led Immaculata (1-3) with 10 points. 

Dunellen 59, Manville 32: Alison McGrath finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one assist for host Dunellen (3-1) at the Clem Santy Holiday Tournament. Erika Orellana recorded 10 points, five rebounds and three assists. Chloe Cassidy totaled 10 points, eight steals and four rebounds. Sioni Robinson led Manville (1-4) with eight points, 12 rebounds, three blocks and one steal. Zytajsha Abner totaled 17 rebounds, six points, four blocks and one steal. 

Governor Livingston 45, Mount Olive 35: Skylar Dowling scored 21 points to lead Gov. Livingston (1-2) at the Madison Holiday Tournament. Fiona Kerr added 10 points and eight rebounds. 

New Brunswick 44, Lindenwold 24: Aniyah Thomas recorded a double-double with 22 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and four steals for host New Brunswick (2-2) at its holiday tournament. Nakima Lue added seven points, five steals and two rebounds. Brehanna Chang totaled six points, five rebounds, six assists and one steal. 

Bound Brook 55, Passaic Tech 30: Cameron Ward led host Bound Brook (4-0) at the Crusader Classic with 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, five blocks and three steals. Arianna McCleod finished with 11 points, three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block. Jordan Todaro added eight points, six steals, four assists and one rebound. 

Woodbridge 63, J.F. Kennedy 34: Brooke Timinski led Woodbridge (3-1) with 28 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists at the LeGrand/Haley Holiday Jubilee. Kameron De Vogd finished with 13 points, six rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist. Kristina Caroselli led J.F. Kennedy (0-4) with 12 points. 

Sussex Tech 58, Somerset Tech 41: Kala Wright finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block for Somerset Tech (0-2) at the Morris Tech Holiday Tournament. Anna Ramos chipped in 11 rebounds, eight points, four steals and one block. 

Morris Catholic 51, Spotswood 28: Amber Meagher led Spotswood (4-1) with eight points at the Bound Brook Crusader Classic. 

East Brunswick Tech 36, Woodbridge Academy 21: Brianna Rolon led host East Brunswick (1-3) with 13 points at the Tech Tournament. Grace D'Amato scored 12 points. Asiyaah Khan led Woodbridge Academy (1-3) with nine points. 

Montgomery 67, Monroe 50: Carolyn Prevost recorded a double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal for host Montgomery (3-1) at the Cougar Classic. Bria Johnson finished with 13 points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals. Madison Carey scored a game-high 32 points for Monroe (0-4). 

South Brunswick 37, North Brunswick 23: Alexis Adams led host South Brunswick (4-0) with 12 points, nine rebounds, three steals and one assist at the Brunswick Classic. Luese Ufuah added nine points, five steals, four assists and two rebounds. Renee Hales led North Brunswick (1-2) with eight points. 

Bridgewater-Raritan 62, Steinert 36: Meghan Ball scored 12 points to pace Bridgewater-Raritan (3-1) at the Montgomery Cougar Classic. Keiko Fox and Teresa Wolak scored added 11 points. Kristin Tribel scored 10 points. 

North Plainfield 47, Perth Amboy Tech 9: Kierra Adams led North Plainfield (1-3) with 17 points, five rebounds and two assists at the Tech Tournament at East Brunswick Tech. Tiana Presely finished with 10 points, six rebounds and one steal. 

Bishop Ahr 56, Old Bridge 14: Emma Boslet recorded a double-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks for Bishop Ahr (5-0) at the Lady Wave Holiday Tournament at Long Branch. Megan Herka tallied nine points, two rebounds and two assists. Jessica Boakye added nine rebounds, five points, one assist and one steal. Rachel Kuhl scored five points for Old Bridge (2-3). 

Colonia 35, Carteret 33: Caitlyn Hroncich finished with 12 points, two rebounds, one block and one steal for host Colonia (1-2) at the LeGrand/Haley Holiday Jubilee. Kailee Stanley recorded 14 rebounds, four points, two assists and two steals. For Carteret (2-3), Amazey Pope-Williams scored 14 points and Taija'Ney McCollum added 10 points. 

Watchung Hills 55, Pequannock 32: Julia Cunningham led Watchung Hills (4-0) with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal at the Kinnelon/Pequannock Classic. Alexa Santo finished with 10 points, five rebounds and two assists. McKenna Frey added nine points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal. 

West Windsor-Plainsboro South 44, South Hunterdon 42: Rylee Bordwick recorded a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals for host South Hunterdon (1-4) at the Over the River Holiday Tournament. Nicole Costantini totaled 15 points, five rebounds, four blocks, one steal and one assist. Rebecca Phillips added 10 rebounds, seven assists and one steal. 

New Providence 57, CSI/McCown (N.Y.) 35: Kaitlyn Cumiskey led New Providence (2-2) with 17 points, five rebounds, six assists, four steals and one block at the Lincoln Lady Lions Holiday Tournament. Alyssa Nook finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, two steals and one assist. 

Rutgers Prep 70, Rumson-Fair Haven 47: Leilani Correa recorded a double-double with 28  points and 10 rebounds for Rutgers Prep (4-0) at the St. John Vianney Invitational. Chiara Tibbitt also had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Olivia Mullins added 10 points. 

Ridge 51, Union 30: Kristin Miscia and Maddy West each scored 12 points for host Ridge (3-2) at the Len Sepanak Memorial Tournament. 

South River 49, Keansburg 23: Tara Beachem led South River (4-1) with 18 points, five steals, three rebounds and two assists. Ashley Fischer added eight points, nine rebounds, four blocks, three steals and two assists. Sonia Guiste chipped in six points, nine rebounds, eight steals, five assists and three blocks. 

Piscataway 44, Bayonne 21: LaNiya Miller finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists and six steals for Piscataway (5-0) at the Mount St. Dominic Tournament. Tori Fisher totaled nine points, three steals and one rebound. Yamirah Bennett added six points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals. 

Somerville 41, Hanover Park 33: Kelsey Mehan led Somerville (4-1) with 13 points and three rebounds at the Morris Hills Holiday Tournament. Christina Cernuto finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Emily Markowski chipped in seven points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block. Meghan Douglas added five points, five rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks. 

Delaware Valley 44, Bernards 34: Allison Scheier scored 14 points to pace Delaware Valley (2-2) at the Metuchen Bulldog Holiday Tournament. Amanda Kix scored 13 points. For Bernards (2-2), Jenna Whelan led with 13 points and Bridget Cawley scored 10 points. 

Mount St. Mary 56, St. Elizabeth 27: Alana Rocco scored 14 points to lead Mount St. Mary (2-2) at the Union Catholic Christmas Tournament. Maria Jaeckel added 13 points and Gina Neigel chipped in 11 rebounds. 

South Plainfield 32, A.L. Johnson 30: Mackenzie O'Brien recorded a double-double for South Plainfield (3-1) with 14 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and one block at the A.L. Johnson Holiday Tournament. Tori Euston finished with eight points, eight rebounds and three steals. 

BOYS BASKETBALL

Woodbridge 64, J.F. Kennedy 47: Curtis Nesbit led Woodbridge (3-0) with 25 points at the LeGrand/Haley Holiday Jubilee. Kemari Persol scored 19 points. For J.F. Kennedy (0-4), Rohan Chakke led with 14 points. 

Elizabeth 57, Westfield 55: Adam McDaniel scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, for Westfield (1-4) in the Len Sepanak Memorial Tournament at Ridge. Matt Crowley added 18 points. 

Union Catholic 68, Newark Tech 58: Ibn Lynn finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, five steals, three assists and one block for Union Catholic (3-2) in the Joe Silver Tournament at Hillside. Robert Miller recorded 12 points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals. Justin Archer totaled 11 points, six rebounds, six blocks, three assists and one steal. Jaheim Tanksley added 11 points, three steals and one rebound. 

J.P. Stevens 72, Perth Amboy Tech 24: Elisha Smith scored 15 points for J.P. Stevens (2-3) in the consolation game of the Anthony Cotoia Holiday Tournament at South Plainfield. Jared Baptist scored 12 points and Kasi Hazzard added 10 points. Carlos Morla led Perth Amboy Tech (3-3) with 12 points, six rebounds and one assist. 

Bishop Ahr 48, South Brunswick 37: Alex Santiago finished with 17 points, two steals and one assist for Bishop Ahr (5-1) at the North Brunswick Classic. Quadry Adams totaled 10 points, three rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Marquise Billingsley added 12 rebounds, four points, two blocks, one steal and one assist. Rashan Raff chipped in eight points, eight rebounds, two steals and one assist. Devin Strickland scored a team-high 23 points for South Brunswick (0-4). 

East Brunswick 65, North Brunswick 59: Joe Sampson scored 14 points to pace East Brunswick (2-2) at the North Brunswick Classic. Mitchell Pingry finished with 12 points and Xavier Fitzgerald scored 11 points. Eric Schneider chipped in 10 points. Avery Claggett scored a game-high 20 points for North Brunswick (1-1), while Jordan Salisbury added 13 points. 

Mount Olive 66, Somerville 63: Chris Elwood recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Somerville (2-4) at the Chatham Cougar Classic. Kevin Sokol finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Ethan Hilliman totaled 12 points and seven rebounds. 

Watchung Hills 83, Central Jersey College Charter 20: Dan Pilsbury scored 20 points to lift Watchung Hills (3-2) at the Bound Brook Holiday Tournament. Michael Bressler recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists. Chad Martini finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Steven Bressler scored 11 points and Jack Dwyer added 10 points. 

Hillsborough 59, Hightstown 54: Justin Brown finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, four steals, five blocks and one assist for host Hillsborough (1-3) at the Hillsborough Holiday Tournament. Jackson Parham recorded 13 points, five assists, two steals, two blocks and one rebound. Patrick Vinchur chipped in 11 points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist. Hillsborough will play Hunterdon Central in the final on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Colonia 56, Franklin 46: Luke Valeriano led host Colonia (1-3) with 19 points at the LeGrand/Haley Holiday Jubilee. Frank Lehmann scored 15 points and Kristian Chapmann scored 10 points. For Franklin (1-3), Trevin Midgette finished with 17 points and Dominic Wright added 13 points. 

Hunterdon Central 80, West Orange 67: Sean Oberman led Hunterdon Central (4-1) with a game-high 27 points at the Hillsborough Holiday Tournament. Jake Krantz and John Sperrazza each scored 11 points. 

Somerset Tech 75, East Brunswick Tech 52: Elijah Bowers recorded a double-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, six steals and three blocks for host Somerset Tech at the Jaguar Holiday Tournament. Harris Syed chipped in 16 points, four steals, three rebounds and one assist. Aamon Sparrow added 12 points, four steals, two rebounds and two assists. Brian Turck contributed eight points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Abellard Brunache totaled 10 rebounds, four points, three steals and two assists. Dylan Stratton scored 16 points for East Brunswick Tech (2-4). David Roman and Jordan Horowitz each scored nine points. 

Henry Hudson 69, South Amboy 34: Louie Martinez led host South Amboy (0-6) with 19 points at the Raritan Bay Holiday Tournament. South Amboy will play Keansburg on Thursday in the consolation game. 

Boonton 50, Wardlaw-Hartridge 25: Shalon Wallace finished with 14 points for Wardlaw-Hartridge (2-3) at the Dover Holiday Tournament. Ryan Petela scored 11 points. 

Linden 79, Northwood Academy (S.C.) 30: Tavon Jones recorded a double-double with 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block for Linden (4-0) at the Rotary Roundball Classic in Charleston, S.C. Luis Rodriguez finished with 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and six steals. Mikey Watkins added 15 points, five assists, five steals and one rebound. 

South River 80, Keansburg 49: Derrick Whitaker threw down 25 points, four assists, two steals and two rebounds for South River (3-2) at the Raritan Bay Holiday Tournament. Joseph Nigro finished with 17 points, five steals, two assists and two rebounds. Michael DeSantis chipped in eight points, four steals, three assists and two rebounds. South River will face Henry Hudson in the final on Thursday. 

Piscataway Tech 64, Keyport 32: Sergio Rodriguez scored 21 points to pace Piscataway Tech (4-1) at the Roselle Park Holiday Tournament. Dylan Noguiere added 12 points and Branden Barnes chipped in 10 points. Piscataway Tech will play Hoboken Charter in the final at 3 p.m. on Thursday. 

Pope John 73, Rutgers Prep 66: Nate Lyles recorded a double-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks for Rutgers Prep (3-2) at the Jingle Bells Jubilee at Don Bosco Tech. Trey Patterson totaled 16 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist. Richie Greaves added 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Jonah Charles chipped in 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists. 

Montgomery 51, Bridgewater-Raritan 42: Kevin Fromelt scored 18 points to lead host Montgomery (4-1) at the Cougar Classic. Riley Greene scored 10 points. For Bridgewater-Raritan (3-1), Sterling White led with 14 points and Aaron Gao chipped in 10 points. 

Dunellen 71, Hopatcong 28: Tyje Kelton recorded a double-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, six steals and one block for host Dunellen (3-2) at the Shello/Santy Holiday Tournament. Drew Johnson contributed 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. Kilwa Casey added 12 points, one rebound and one steal. Dunellen will face Middlesex in the final on Friday at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph (Met.) 68, Holy Spirit 59: Tyree Taganeca-Ford led St. Joseph (3-1) with 21 points in the semifinals of the Score at the Shore Holiday Tournament. Howard McBurnie added 15 points and Jack Hogarty scored 10 points. 

Middlesex 90, Highland Park 57: Jake Robel recorded a double-double with 28 points, 17 rebounds and eight assists as Middlesex (3-1) advanced to the final of the Shello/Santy Christmas Tournament at Dunellen. John Dickey scored 21 points and Anthony Mason added eight points. Connor Murcier led Highland Park (1-4) with 18 points. Highland Park will play Hopatcong in the consolation game on Friday at 4 p.m.

Ridge 44, Morristown 19: Jeremy McCavera finished with 10 points and six rebounds to lead host Ridge (2-2) at the Len Sepanak Memorial Tournament. Chris Feringa added nine points and six rebounds. Jake Herrera chipped in eight points and seven rebounds. Ridge will face Elizabeth in the final at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. 

Immaculata 77, Irvington 51: Jared Chambliss led host Immaculata (1-3) with a game-high 27 points and five rebounds at the Monsignor Eugene B. Kelly Memorial Christmas Classic. TJ Schneider finished with 20 points, including four 3-pointers. 

Sayreville 62, Seton LaSalle (Pa.) 51: Elijah Clark scored 22 points to lift Sayreville (4-0) in the Albert E. Martin “Buc” Classic at Red Bank Regional. Zac Kaczmarek added 17 points and Jaijuan Macklin scored 13 points.
