HNT All-Area Boys Lacrosse Teams

FIRST TEAM

A Sean Gillies, Monroe, Sr.

The Gettysburg-bound senior finished with 46 goals and 55 assists, as well as recorded his 100 career goal and 200th career point. He finished his career with 269 points. Gillies, a captain, helped lead Monroe to a 16-4 record and the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament title.

A Max Bischoff, St. Joseph, Jr.

Bischoff finished the year with 32 goals and 41 assists for St. Joseph, and recorded his 100th career point. The junior helped lead the Falcons to the GMC division title, going undefeated against GMC competition.

A Thomas Bahmer, East Brunswick, Jr.

Bahmer led East Brunswick with 42 goals and 40 assists this season, as the Bears improved from 5-13 last season to 11-8 this season. He recorded a total of three goals and five assists in two games against St. Joseph, and scored four goals against South Brunswick in the GMC Tournament quarterfinals, the first win for East Brunswick in the GMC Tournament in recent memory.

M Jimmy Tovey, St. Joseph, Sr.

Tovey finished with 35 goals and 21 assists for St. Joseph, recording at least one point in every game but one this season. He had a hat trick and one assist, including the game-winner, against Monroe as the Falcons won the GMC division title.

M Peter Jarosiewicz, Monroe, Sr.

The Lynchburg-bound senior finished with 42 goals, 17 assists and 84 ground balls for the Falcons, and recorded his 100th career point. He had two goals and two assists against St. Joseph in the GMC Tournament final, and recorded hat tricks against Howell and Kingsway as Monroe advanced to the NJSIAA South Group IV quarterfinals.

M Micah Trawick, Old Bridge, Jr.

The junior recorded 40 goals and 24 assists as Old Bridge finished 11-8 this season. Trawick scored four goals against JP Stevens in the GMC Tournament quarterfinals, and added a goal and an assist as the Knights fell to top-seeded Montgomery in the South Group IV quarterfinals.

D Cole Marini, Monroe, Sr.

The Roanoke-bound senior was named the GMC Defensive Player of the Year after finishing with three goals, one assist and 114 ground balls for Monroe this season. Marini helped the Falcons defense finish third in the state this season, as they allowed only 80 goals this season, an average of four goals a game. He helped Monroe finish 33-8 over the last two seasons.

D Brendan Moreau, St. Joseph, Sr.

Moreau finished the season with one goal, one assist and 34 ground balls as St. Joseph went 13-6, won the GMC division title, advanced to the GMC Tournament final and the Non-Public A quarterfinals. The senior helped to anchor a defense that allowed 131 goals, an average of almost seven goals a game.

D Rob Duncan, East Brunswick, So.

The sophomore helped to anchor a defense that was a big part of turning East Brunwick's season around. After starting the season 2-8, the Bears rallied to win their next eight games, including a victory in the GMC Tournament.

G Joey Massoni, Monroe, Sr.

The Kean-bound senior made 150 saves this season, recorded his 500th career save and finished the season with a 3.40 goals against average for the Falcons.
