Boys Lacrosse Roundup for Saturday, May 14

Sparta 11, North Hunterdon 7: Sean Wood tallied a hat trick and one assist as third-seeded North Hunterdon (10-6) fell to No. 1 Sparta in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament final. Rob Marron added two goals and one assist. Jake Pepe finished with one goal and one assist. Connor McMahon also scored.

West Morris 8, New Providence 3: Quinn Killeen led New Providence (10-6) with one goal and one assist. Johnny Shahpazian and Ryan Pope also scored. John Slater had an assist.

Rutgers Prep 5, Hightstown 4: Dan Varga finished with two goals and one assist for Rutgers Prep (2-13). Matt Hogan, Kevin O'Hara and Mike Barbato also scored. Lance Bean and Dhruv Patel each had an assist. Goalie Cole Touhey made 11 saves.

Delaware Valley 11, Millburn 7: Matt Donnelly led Delaware Valley (13-4) with a hat trick and two assists. Jack Kastenschmidt finished with two goals and one assist. Joe Donnelly added one goal and four assists. Joe Cansfield scored twice. Goalie Joe Beljan made 13 saves.

Gill St. Bernard's 20, Edison 4: Nick Cooper finished with nine goals and eight assists to pace Gill St. Bernard's (11-4). Singh Preet added four goals and two assists. Cameron Burns tallied one goal and four assists. Michael DelPriore tallied two goals and one assist and Lake Jacobson scored twice. For Edison (2-14), Michael Tutalo scored twice.

Bernards 14, Verona 2: Jack Warren scored four goals for Bernards (12-7). James Fitzsimmons, Spencer Lyons and Mike Parisi each had two goals and one assist. Miles Kenny scored twice.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 10, River Dell 7: David Walker recorded a hat trick and Scott Nizolak and Jordan Belford each scored twice for Scotch Plains-Fanwood (12-5). Jack Brady and Robert Gordon each added one goal and one assist.
