ST. JOSEPH REPORT: St. Joseph will be searching for its third-straight GMC Tournament title and it will again have to go through Monroe to get it. The Falcons defeated Monroe last season 13-6. Saturday will be the second time this season these two teams have met, with St. Joseph beating Monroe in the final seconds 9-8 on April 28. Max Bischoff leads the team with 31 goals and 37 assists, and Timmy Day has 30 goals and 43 assists. Jimmy Tovey (31 goals, 19 assists), Brett Krause (25 goals, two assists), John Henry Riccardi (21 goals, six assists) and Garrett Klurman (15 goals, 14 assists) round out a very balanced scoring attack. Goalie Ryan Hultberg has made 148 saves and has allowed only 92 goals.

MONROE REPORT: Monroe enters Saturday on a four-game win streak having lost to Moorestown by one goal on May 2. The Falcons have faced a few tough teams this season, including Pingry, which could have an affect on the way they play against St. Joseph on Saturday. The first time these two teams met this season it was a battle, with Monroe taking a 3-2 lead at halftime. Sean Gillies leads the team with 38 goals and 47 assists, with Erik Anderson right behind him with 35 goals and 47 assists. Peter Jarosiewicz (34 goals, nine assists), Chase Santiago (16 goals, 12 assists), Kyle Tepe (18 goals, 10 assists) and Mike Tepedino (19 goals, two assists) are also scoring threats.

PREDICTION: Don't be surprised if this one goes to overtime. Monroe 10, St. Joseph 9.
