Route 78 traffic delayed 25 to 30 minutes due to crash

UNION (Hunterdon) - Traffic on westbound Route 78 west of Clinton is delayed for 25 to 30 minutes because of an overturned truck, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Traffic on the highway is still jammed after the 1 p.m. accident on the busiest traffic day of the year.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.

Preliminary reports indicated that a State Police medevac landed on the highway to take the truck driver to a hospital.
