Girls Lacrosse Roundup for Tuesday, May 3

J.P. Stevens 14, Union Catholic 13: Molly Yelencsics scored eight goals to lead J.P. Stevens (3-11). Christina Rusk scored twice. Samantha Dzema added one goal and one assist. Goalie Jessie Racioppi made 20 saves. For Union Catholic (1-9), Christina Bubniak led with five goals. Lauren Power tallied a hat trick and Amanda Scheidemann scored twice.

Bridgewater-Raritan 17, Cherokee 3: Ally Mastroianni scored four goals and Ally Stanton added a hat trick and three assists as Bridgewater-Raritan improved to 14-0. Hannah Hollingsworth registered two goals and three assists. Julia Lytle scored twice.

Montgomery 17, South Brunswick 9: Danielle Losier scored six goals to pace Montgomery (8-6). Angela Masessa finished with five goals and two assists. Julia Aliev scored twice. Nikki Duran added one goal and five assists. For South Brunswick (9-6), Shannen Sterner scored four goals. Briana Gonzales scored twice. Caroline Hvozdovic tallied one goal and three assists.

Governor Livingston 12, Newark Academy 8: Lindsay Gerrato led Governor Livingston (7-4) with five goals and one assist. Stephanie Dowling added two goals and three assists. Alice Caballero finished with one goal and one assist.

Monroe 16, East Brunswick 4: Kara Turco and Lesley Lane each recorded a hat trick and one assist to lead Monroe (9-5). Liz Skobelev finished with two goals and two assists. Olivia Tucker, Jenna Morelli and Zoe Rosen each scored twice. For East Brunswick (3-8), Angela Costanzo led with two goals and one assist. Camy Steiner and Chloe Tauber also scored.

Pingry 15, Voorhees 9: Shea Smith scored four goals for Pingry (4-9). Olivia Lai tallied two goals and three assists. Mary Pagano added two goals and one assist. Eliza Kielty and Meg O'Reilly each scored twice. For Voorhees (7-4), Emily Zobian scored four goals. Gillian Panreck and Kathryn Roncoroni each scored twice.

South Plainfield 19, Edison 15: Ashley Veliz tallied eight goals and two assists to pace South Plainfield (7-7). Michaella Butrico recorded five goals and two assists. Olivia O'Leary scored four goals. Quinn Milane added one goal and three assists. For Edison (5-7), Lauren Cassella finished with six goals and one assist. Kenisha Chester chipped in five goals and one assist. Ashley Hunt contributed a hat trick and one assist.
