Courier News Boys Lacrosse Top 10

1. Bridgewater-Raritan (10-0): Yes, the Panthers are still undefeated, and are still atop the Skyland Conference Delaware Division at 4-0. Bridgewater-Raritan survived a scare from Montgomery last Wednesday, winning with two seconds left to keep its win streak intact, then defeated Bronxville (N.Y.) on Saturday. With the Somerset County Tournament seeding meeting taking place this week, look for the defending champs to garner the No. 1 seed.

2. Pingry (9-1): Pingry was dealt its first loss of the season at the hands of Moorestown, 12-11, on April 27, but bounced back with a win over St. Augustine. The Big Blue has a big test against Montgomery on Wednesday, and will close out the regular season against Sparta, Westfield and Christian Brothers.

3. Montgomery (9-2): The Cougars had a five-game win streak snapped with a loss to Bridgewater-Raritan on April 27, a game that went down to the wire. Montgomery won its next game against St. Joseph, 19-11, and will look to close out the regular season with wins over Pingry, Hun and St. Peter's Prep.

4. Hunterdon Central (8-3): Since falling to Bridgewater-Raritan on April 20, the Red Devils have won their last three games, including an overtime win over Moorestown on Saturday. Hunterdon Central has two regular season games left, and they won't be easy as it faces Ridge on Wednesday and Morris County's Chatham on May 16.

5. Ridge (7-4): Ridge has won seven of its last eight games, with a loss to Ridgewood on April 23. The Red Devils bounced back with wins over Immaculata and Westfield, and will look to keep the winning streak going against Hunterdon Central and Manasquan on Friday.

6. Westfield (4-8): Since beating Johnson on April 23, Westfield has lost its last two against Delbarton and Ridge. The No. 2 seed in the Union County Tournament, the Blue Devils will play in the semifinals on Thursday, with a warmup against Allentown that was played on Monday.

7. New Providence (9-3): New Providence is currently in the middle of a five-game win streak and sits atop the Bianchi East Division at 4-1. The Pioneers faced off against Delaware Valley on Monday, and will play in the Union County Tournament quarterfinals as the No. 3 seed against Johnson on Tuesday.

8. Watchung Hills (5-5): Watchung Hills had a two-game win streak snapped with a loss to New Providence on Friday, but will look to move over .500 against Christian Brothers on Monday, Moorestown on Wednesday, Monroe on Saturday and Rutgers Prep on May 12.

9. Bernards (8-5): Bernards has lost its last three games to some tough competition, including Kinnelon, West Morris and St. Peter's Prep. The Mountaineers will look to get back on track against Phillipsburg and St. Joseph (Met.) this week.

10. Delaware Valley (9-3): Delaware Valley has won its last seven games by a combined 98-32 and will close out the regular season with games against New Providence and Gill St. Bernard's.

10. Scotch Plains-Fanwood (9-4): The Raiders had a three-game win streak snapped with an overtime loss to Delaware Valley on April 27. They bounced back with a win over Oceanside (N.Y.), and will face Cranford on Tuesday in the UCT quarterfinals.
