North 2 Group IV

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 3, Millburn 0: Brian McManus scored a goal nine minutes into the game off of a assist from Zach Halma for the second-seeded Raiders. Jordan Cimring extended the lead in the 35th minute and Ari Rosenzweig followed two minutes later with a tally of his own.

Westfield 2, Watchung Hills 0: Samuel Karnofsky and Michael Mobarakai each scored to propel No. 8 Westfield into the next round. Cullen Birkel had five saves to secure the shutout. Matt Grunstein had six saves in a losing effor for No. 9 Watchung Hills.

Newark East Side 2, Ridge 1: Noah Jeffries got No. 12 Ridge on the board with a goal off of an assist from Kyle Brady. Mike Ardiff made eight saves for the Red Devils.

Columbia 3, Plainfield 1: Luis Arevalo made 12 saves for fourth-seeded Plainfield.

Kearny 1, North Hunterdon 0: Tyler Peragallo made five saves for No. 16 North Hunterdon (7-9-2).

North 2 Group III

South Plainfield 8, Berringer 2: Eighth-seeded South Plainfield rolled into the quarterfinals behind a hat trick from Deshai Smith. Nick Polizzano, John Pareja, Ian McCoid, Richard Marcovecchio and Jake Hoffman each had goals. Jacob Villacres added three assists to the win. The Tigers will face fifth-seeded Warren Hills on Friday.

Red Bank Regional 2, Colonia 1: Ryan Litterer’s 10 saves in net wasn’t enough to help No. 8 Colonia advance. Will Arias had a goal, with Alberto Simoes supplying the assist.

Mendham 6, Rahway 0: Zach Bible made two stops during the loss for 16th-seeded Rahway.

Summit 7, Carteret 0: Luis Rivera made eight saves, but No. 14 Carteret fell short of advancing.

Central Group IV

East Brunswick 3, Hunterdon Central 3 (6-5 in PKs): Sixth-seeded East Brunswick was able to outlast No. 11 Hunterdon Central in penalty kicks. Philemon Ogalo, Sahil Patel and Ryan Stelicos scored goals for the Bears. Lucas Espada made six saves. Andrew Pannone notched two scores for Hunterdon Central.

South Brunswick 5, Sayreville 0: The Vikings had a quick start when Kunal Thakral slammed home a corner from Keiler Knapp. Nasser Aamer scored two goals for second-seeded South Brunswick. Ronaldo Solano and Jermaine Small also scored. South Brunswick will play seventh-seeded Freehold Township in the quarterfinals.

New Brunswick 6, Freehold Borough 3: Claudio Guzman and Kevin Sanchez each scored two goals for No. 1 New Brunswick. Kevin Canesco and Arlin Martinez scored goals for the Zebras. New Brunswick plays eighth-seeded Manalapan in the quarterfinals.

Monroe 4, Hightstown 1: Alex Fernandez had three goals and Zach Hroch added another score to allow fourth-seeded Monroe to advance to the quarterfinals against Montgomery. Nick Rios made four saves during the win.

Montgomery 6, Old Bridge 1: Rory Kemmerer had a hat trick to help fifth-seeded Montgomery advance to the quarterfinals. Marko Elez, Joey LeVake and Steve Tattoli gave the Cougars offensive support with goals of their own. Gregg Johnson netted the lone tally for 12th-seeded Old Bridge.

Central Group II

North Plainfield 6, Delaware Valley 3: Allen Gavilanes led the offensive charge for fifth-seeded North Plainfield with four goals and an assist. Ronaldo Garcia had two goals. Kyle Refalvy made 14 saves. Delaware Valley saw a balanced offensive attack behind goals from Kevin Delatte, Sean McIntyre and Kevin Moran. North Plainfield will square off against fourth-seeded Johnson in the quarterfinals.

Bernards 1, Matawan 1 (5-4 in PKs): Dan Paez scored a goal in regulation for No. 3 Bernards. Andres Lezme made six saves. Bernards will play 11th-seeded Robbinsville in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Johnson 1, New Providence 0: 13th-seeded New Providence fell short in a defensive battle. Dillon Konzelmann made 11 saves.

Holmdel 4, Spotswood 2: Robby Nason and Andrew Picado scored two goals for eighth-seeded Spotswood.

Robbinsville 4, East Brunswick Tech 0: Goalie Troy Bello made 16 saves in the loss for No. 11 East Brunswick Tech (14-4).

Central Group I

Bound Brook 12, Piscataway Tech 1: Five goals and an assist from Gerald Cubero powered sixth-seeded Bound Brook into the quarterfinals against third-seeded Burlington City on Friday. Christopher Antunes added two goals and an assist. Bound Brook also received scores from Christopher Cisneros, William Gutierrez, Nick Lujan, Angelo Steck and Eduardo Vargas.

Metuchen 5, Highland Park 0: Michael Cyran and Greg Poandel each scored two goals to send second-seeded Metuchen into the quarterfinals against New Egypt. Farhan Rozaidi made 10 saves to record a shutout.

South River 5, South Hunterdon 2: Jonathan Franco ignited fifth-seeded South River’s offense with a hat trick in the second half. Andre Mirassol and Kevin Mendez each supplied the Rams with goals.

New Egypt 2, Middlesex 0: Joey Venutolo made 10 saves for seventh-seeded Middlesex (14-8).

Non-Public South A

Bishop Ahr 1, Camden Catholic 0: Patrick Hartman scored the only goal of the game in the second half to send sixth-seeded Bishop Ahr into the quarterfinals. Bishop Ahr made 25 shots over the course of the game. Anthony Tirri blanked Camden Catholic with eight saves. Bishop Ahr will travel to face third-seeded St. Augustine on Friday.

Non-Public South B

Immaculata 3, Mater Dei 1: Jonathan Roberts recorded a hat trick in the second half to help seventh-seeded Immaculata advance to the quarterfinals to face Timothy Christian.

Holy Cross 4, Wardlaw-Hartridge 1: Ninth-seeded Wardlaw-Hartridge had a goal from Diogo Ferreira. Andrew Park made eight saves in the loss.
