FRANKLIN (Somerset) – A 42-year-old Trenton man working for a tree cutting service suffered severe abdominal pain after a branch broke and he fell about 30 feet to the ground.

Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police received a 911 call about a person who had fallen from a tree at a Canal Road home.

Officers from the Franklin Township Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit responded and found the tree service worker who had fallen. The man, who complained of severe abdominal pain, was wearing a safety harness at the time of the incident, police said.
