2 drivers injured in 3-vehicle Tewksbury crash

TEWKSBURY – A Long Valley man has been issued a summons for careless driving following a three-vehicle accident that sent two drivers to the hospital.

According to police, around 7:38 a.m. July 2, Kris J. Kisatsky, 49, of West Valley Brook Road, Califon, was driving a blue Honda Civic and was stopped in traffic on Route 517 waiting to make a left turn onto Beacon Light Road.

Police said Robert S. Henion , 30, of Kings Highway, Long Valley, was driving a maroon Volkswagen Passat and allegedly failed to stop and struck Kisatsky's vehicle.

Kisatsky's vehicle was pushed into the southbound lane. Michael D'Alessio, 42, of Madison Street, Hackettstown, was driving a green Jeep Wrangler south on 517 and was unable to stop. The Jeep struck Kisatsky's vehicle, police said.

Police said D'Alessio was transported to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Kisatsky was taken to Morristown Medical Center and Henion refused medical treatment.

Henion was issued a summons for careless driving, police said.
