The following Central Jersey businesses, organizations, individuals and communities won or will win awards:

•Woodbridge Township has been awarded a 3-STAR Community Rating for national leadership in sustainability. The STAR Community Rating System designation is awarded to a municipality after an extensive review that evaluates the livability and sustainability of U.S. communities. •Keep Middlesex Moving has presented 35 Middlesex County companies with the 2015 NJ Smart Workplaces Award. Gold winners are Firmenich, Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, QualCare Alliance Networks, and Plainsboro Township. •Scotch Plains-based Music for All Season won an Innovator Award from the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Cultural Access Network Project for its healing Voices of Valor program on June 18 at Grounds for Sculpture. Voices of Valor groups six to ten veterans with two professional-musician facilitators and a psychology mentor to write lyrics about their experiences, and then compose and record an original song. •At its annual June Membership Meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn in Edison, Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey presented awards to a record 39 members for exemplary safety records during 2014 that resulted in Zero Lost Work Days and Lost Workday Incidence Rates Below the National Average.
