J.F. Kennedy 7, North Brunswick 6: Junior catcher Ashley Conroy hit a game-winning RBI single to left with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Madison Buttitta, who singled to lead off the inning and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt, as J.F. Kennedy overcame an early 6-0 deficit to North Brunswick to pull off a 7-6 comeback victory.

Senior third baseman Rebecca Colandrea highlighted the North Brunswick (0-5) second with a grand slam.

The Mustangs (3-1) got a run back in the second and third innings before tying the game 6-6 with a four-run fifth, as Julia Sinatra started the inning off with a double to right and was knocked in by Brianna Hindy on a RBI single. Two consecutive walks loaded the bases and Buttitta hit an RBI fielder's choice. Conroy followed with a sac fly and the tying run scored on an error.

Sinatra went 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Clare Lewis went 2-for-2 with an RBI for J.F. Kennedy. Kayla Coleman got the win, allowing three earned runs on six hits.

Nicolette Aloia went 2-for-3 with a run and RBI for the Raiders.

South Plainfield 7, Woodbridge 5: Camryn Schaeffer went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored to lead South Plainfield (5-0), which scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh to break a tied game. Caroline Ratti homered and drove in two runs for the Tigers while Katherine Vill drove in three runs at the plate and scattered 11 hits in the circle, allowing three earned runs while striking out 10 and walking two for the win.

South Plainfield led 5-1 until Woodbridge picked up a run in the bottom of the fifth and then tallied a three-run bottom of the sixth to tie the game 5-5.

Justine Stefura went 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored to lead Woodbridge (1-3) while Carly Kjersgaard went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Jordan Vazquez collected two hits as well for the Barrons.

Old Bridge 8, Edison 2: Amanda Carney went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI as Old Bridge (1-3) picked up its first win. Jen Panzarino, Miranda Wade, and Noreen Nugent all collected two hits apiece, drove in a run, and scored a run for the Knights.

Alex Grubiak struck out 10, walked four, and allowed one earned run on five hits for the win.

Bianca Newsom and Nikki Gresh each singled twice for Edison (0-4).

Bishop Ahr 8, Carteret 2: Ryleigh Greenwald and Ragen Reddick each went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI to lead Bishop Ahr (3-1), which scored eight unanswered runs after allowing a pair of unearned runs in the top of the third. The Trojans answered back with a run in the bottom of the third on consecutive doubles from Greenwald and Reddick.

Christine LaRochelle allowed only two hits, striking out eight and walking none as she allowed just the two unearned runs.

Bianca Oblepias went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI, and run for Carteret (1-3).

Bishop Ahr then scored two in the fourth as Katie Cavico began the inning with a double, followed by a Sarah Franczak single, and then a walk to load the bases as an RBI ground out by Christine LaRochelle and an RBI single by Reddick scored the runs.

The Troajns then tacked on five runs in the sixth inning for good measure on RBI hits by Ryleigh Greenwald, Amanda Julve, and Katie Eicher.

Monroe 19, Perth Amboy 0 (4 inn.): Cindy Foresta went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and four runs scored as Monroe (2-0) bange out 13 hits. Angela Mazurkiewicz went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run while Hannah Fisher also went 2-for-3 with a double for the Falcons. Grace Martini had a solo homer while Nicole Van Dzura tossed three hitless innings for the win. Quiana Starks singled in the fourth inning for Perth Amboy (0-3).

J.P. Stevens 5, Canal Winchester 3: Rebecca DiSerio went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple, three RBI, and a run to power J.P. Stevens (5-0) at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. Freshman Ashley Lombardi allowed three earned runs on six hits for the win, pitching through extreme heat.

The Hawks jumped out to an early 3-0 lead as Kayla Smith walked to start the game and Gabby Young followed with an infield single. DiSerio then ripped a triple that hit the left field fence to score them both. After Canal Winchester recorded an out, DiSerio scored on Amanda Lombardi's single to right center.

In the third, Canal Winchester's first two batters reached base (walk for Carlisle and single to left for Hamilton). After they each stole a base, they were knocked in by Faulkner's bloop single over the second baseman.

J.P. Stevens answered right back with a run of their own as DiSerio led the inning off with a double in the left center gap. With two outs in the inning, Lombardi helped herself by driving her in with a line drive single up the middle.

The fourth inning the Hawks added their last run when Smith walked to get on and DiSerio had yet another RBI double to left center.

The Indians added their last run in the fifth when Caswell walked and was knocked in by Faulkner's single to right field.

J.P. Stevens 7, Garfield Heights (OH) 2: Singles from Amanda Leary, Brianna Zederbaum, Kayla Smith and Gabby Young scored the first three runs in the second inning for J.P. Stevens (4-0) as Smith's hit knocked in a pair and Young's single scored one. Rebecca DiSerio went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, two RBI, and a run for the Hawks while Leary and Zederbaum each had two hits as well. Ashley Lombardi allowed an earned run on five hits for the win.

After Garfield Heights got on the board in the third inning, the Hawks added a run in the fourth when Gabby Young, who singled, scored on a DiSerio RBI-triple to the left center fence. J.P. Stevens tacked on its last three runs in the sixth on four hits (RBI double by DiSerio, singles by Julie Siecinski (RBI), Amanda Lombardi and Leary (RBI)).

Garfield Heights tacked on a run in the seventh inning.

J.P. Stevens 4, Verona (WI) 3 (8 inn.): Rebecca DiSerio went 3-for-5 with an RBI to lead J.P. Stevens (3-0), which scored the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth after Kelsey Shalonis scored on Gabby Young's infield single.

With the Hawks trailing 3-2 heading to the top of the seventh, DiSerio started the inning off with a single and scored on Amanda Lombardi's RBI single to tie the game.

Ashley Lombardi struck out 12, walked seven, and allowed no earned runs on six hits over eight innings for the win.

Verona scored three unearned runs in the second inning to take an early 3-0 lead.

J.P. Stevens got two runs back in the fifth when Brianna Ziderbaum led off with a single and DiSerio plated her with a two-out single up the middle, who then was driven in by Amanda Lombardi's RBI single to left.

South River 15, Wardlaw-Hartridge 10: Alyssa Andrejic went 4-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and four runs to power South River (3-1). Mackenzie Garrick had a 3-for-4 day as she doubled, homered, drove in five, and scored four runs for South River while getting the win in the circle. Julia Linger tripled, drove in a run, and scored two runs to lead Wardlaw-Hartridge (2-1), which went ahead 7-0 through two innings before South River scored four runs in each of the next three innings.

Perth Amboy Tech 20, Piscataway Tech 4 (4 inn.): Michelle Infante went 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs and Mariel Ynoa went 3-for-4 with a triple and four runs scored to lead Perth Amboy Tech (3-0). Rebecca Haggerty also had a 3-for-4 day for the Patriots, scoring three runs, while she allowed four earned runs on four hits for the win.

Margarita Lopez, Claudia Edralin, and Kaitlyn Utrecht all singled and scored a run for Piscataway Tech (0-2).

Perth Amboy Tech scored 15 runs over the first two innings.

Dunellen 20, Woodbridge Academy 4 (4 inn.): Kirsten Wilson went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs and Danielle Henderson went 2-for-2 with an RBI and run scored to lead Dunellen (2-1). Emily Cody tossed three shutout innings for the win, allowing one hit, while Mai Hoang knocked in three runs for the Destroyers. Jacinda Pujols singled, driving in and scoring a run for Woodbridge Academy (0-3).

Highland Park 5, East Brunswick Tech 4: Nautica Dennis went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Simona Moyal went 2-for-4 as Highland Park (1-2) scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning for the comeback victory. Gabrielle Curcio, Gabirella Carnivale, and Makayla Brown all recorded three hits apiece to lead East Brunswick Tech (1-2).
