Favorite: Monroe’s Nick Goff owns a 12-7 record with all of his 220-pound losses to nonconference opponents including two to highly regarded William Oxley of Christian Brothers Academy. He has competed at heavyweight, losing 3-1 in sudden victory to Edison’s Keith Serio, a top contender in the GMCT at 285 pounds. Goff decisioned South Plainfield’s Dakota Pauls 5-1 and Old Bridge’s Jeff Pabon 6-1 in overtime.
